Gotta say, deciding to listen to Sprained Ankle on World Mental Health Day hits real hard.

 

Is it normal to hear Julien over the speakers at Panera?

Because I hope it is

This is very good. Goddamn the ending is powerful

 

It was good. Not as great as appointments. Can't get I Can Feel A Hot One out of my head. The ending was phenomenal. Also, I really need her 100 dollars cover as a studio MP3...and I need that Julien and Andy duet released!

 

On another note. Did I totally miss out on the non-black vinyl pressings of this record?

The white and red vinyls for Sprained Ankle are running for $100-150 on discogs...

I'd love to get a copy of both. Only have the Funeral Pyre/Distant Solar Systems pressings

There's a dark blue with white splatter version of Sprained Ankle that's still for sale
There's a clear version of Turn Out The Lights on Matador's site

 

The only one currently available is clear. On release there’s going to be more orange variants. The purple splatter ones are long gone though, sadly. I missed out.

 

hoping for a tour variant or at least a few color options. 2 weeks from friday, cannot come soon enoughh.

Love it. If these first two songs are any indicator, I can see this record not hitting as hard for me on a personal level as Sprained Ankle but hitting harder on a purely musical level.
