Listening to the Liam Gallagher record. It's good, not great. Anyone else heard it?

 

I didn’t like it at all. Doesn’t help that I find Liam insufferable. Excited for the new Noel album though

 

Holy shit Your Favoirte Weapon is 16 years old today. I feel old as hell.

 

If the whole record sounded like "For What It's Worth" it'd be a great record.

Having said that, Noel's output has been way better!

 

Can we have a moment of silence for blakebeats?

Who's that album by? I looked it up and it said it's a Brand New album, but they've only had four albums for as long as I can remember...deja, devil and god, Daisy, and SciFi. Weird!

I was 5 as well! Got into them when I was 16

 

15 I believe. Got into them freshman year of high school I'm p sure after I figured out what the "I've seen more spine in jellyfish" lyric was from after seeing it a ton on Tumblr

That album has never not been underwhelming but I grew to appreciate it I guess

I still love YFW. Jesse has always had a knack for writing hooks.

I got into BN when I was like 11 or 12.

 

I got into BN when I was 19, a little bit after the release of YFW.

Then, a few years later, my girlfriend of nearly 5 years cheated on me with, and dumped me for, an English boy while she was studying abroad at Lancaster University. Needless to say I listened to "Jude Law" way too much after that.

 

I'm not sure if this is true, or a very good use of dry humor

 

100% true, unfortunately. I referred to him as "Jude Law" for several years, even after she and I reconciled and became friends again.

We need more people with this sort of mentality.
