CAF qualifying have some pretty good races for their lone spots this weekend too, Nigeria/Zambia will either decide the group or make the last matchday a little bit more exciting

The rain delay babbling of the Packers game had 3.3 million viewers.

The highest watched soccer game of this entire season thus far in the US is 641k. (City-Chelsea.) We’ve come a long way. So much further to go.

@StevenW92 The Ipswich-Sheff Wed game in November is now on Sky.

That’s good because that’s one I definitely won’t be able to get too. Sky have annoyed me a bit this season though. As a result of them putting us on and the police moving local derbies, we’ve not a 3 o’clock Saturday home kick off since the end of August and our next one is 18th November. Ridiculous.

I distinctly remember the Russian delegates referring to the English World Cup bid as primitive. I can only assume that shitty mechano stands are the future.

Assuming England make it to Russia, I can see it being a shit show. For whatever reason, the Russian hardcores seem to have developed a problem with the English fans (as we saw in France last year), which can surely only go well...

That being said, were there issues when Liverpool and Man United were over there for the CL the other week?

Rashford absolutely having the life of this right back at the minute. Not much end product, but consistently beating him.

Has Ox touched the ball yet?

And playing two holding midfielders? No creativity in this team.

In his last 4 games with Denmark, Eriksen has 4 goals and 4 assists.

England are absolutely dire. Really, really bad. No system, just individuals running with the ball, no movement and then losing the ball.

Every international break I say I'm done with the team, that I won't watch it anymore, and every time I'm dragged back in.

Isn’t England perfect in qualifying? If it’s working just go with it

The ref in the NI-Germany game is absolutely awful. So many clear fouls not punished.

  22. England is a very boring watch.

I mean, even if we just take this match on its own, it's not working tonight. We have been absolutely toothless.

But England should be qualifying from this group, so perfect or not, as long as we're qualified. We need to be building for the future. There's no system, no style of play, no ideas. We rely much too much on individuals/ mistakes from the opponent's, even against the opposition in groups like this. We have been winning, but against any sort of quality we'd be destroyed. The team is going backwards under Southgate, and that perfect record is going to end tonight.

Edit: apologies if this reads like a rant, not aiming it at you or anything. Just very tiring watching this team haha.

England go close to perfect in every qualifying stage, doesn't mean anything as they shit the bed come a tournament.

Germany qualified for the WC with 9 wins in 9 games, 38:3 goals. Thats a decent run.
