The last one I played was 2k16 but the defense seems pretty smooth in this one, it just takes forever to level up your stats.

Also loved the prologue and felt Kojima was taking his cinematic storytelling skills to the next level with how he used comic book/manga allegory and filmmaking techniques to emphasize the sheer horror of that situation. And then the rest of the experience (up to where I'm at at least, 40 hours and 20-30 something missions later) is pretty much ALL gameplay, haha.

Been emulating Super Mario World on my laptop because I need to convince myself that I don't need an SNES Classic. Perfect game, holds up ridiculously well and might be the best platformer of all time.

 

Not massive on the Battlefront II beta so far, won't lie...

 

Why? I'm not playing it but I'm interested in the game. Big Battlefield fan here if that helps.

 

I been digging battlefront beta so far. Still haven't tried all the modes yet tho

 

Something about the shooting just feels off, just feels a bit too heavy. I don't know. Only played a couple of rounds of the assault mode, so I'll post more thoughts in a bit.

I must say mind, the space fighting mode is absolutely awesome. Lots of fun.

 

Interesting. Have you played any of the more recent (post Bad Company 2) Battlefield games?

 

Yeah, Battlefield 1. Put a fair amount of hours into that one. And the last Battlefront, which I really enjoyed. I think this one will grow on me, maybe it's because I have played a lot of shooters like Overwatch, Fortnite BR and the like since I last played a game like that.

I promised myself I wasn't going to buy Battlefront II, want to save up for a Switch...

I'm thinking of getting Battlefront 2, I'd like to play Star Wars campaign this year and the multiplayer looks fun enough. I also like that they won't be selling maps, that always cripples Battlefield.

 

I think it's just taking me a while to get used to the classes and the mechanics again. Getting more fun the more I play, which is a bad sign for my bank account haha.

 

Haha 4 hours definitely qualifies as "soon".

Get Cuphead

 

It's only about 2 hours long so definitely worth a try. I did it in 2 sittings and enjoyed it. Imagine it would've resonated even more with me if I hadn't played Firewatch before this.

 

Gone Home is the best post-hardcore game

I won't get it until Monday. Oh well, I can't complain. Got a new s with forza for sub $200.

 

it's still all i have in me not to trade the xbox for another ps4 but i keep finding just enough reasons to hang on to it. don't care about gears, don't care about forza, don't care about any halo after reach. cuphead is the first thing in years i want to play on it that i can't play on ps4, and even then i can get that on steam.

Cuphead is the only game that is making me consider not selling my xbox. I don't play online on it because I'm already paying for PSN, and the exclusives don't interest me much unfortuantely

 

Halo 5 custom games browser looks fun. Also infection.

I'll get gears 4, too. Seems fun. Always liked horde.
