Oh noes.. DEJAVU! This conversation about "California" was my wild-debut in forums 2 months ago and everyone wanted to eat me alive (you still do deep down). Let's agree to disagree on this subject and move on.

It looks like I always agree with The Stroke dude. My thoughts exactly 5,5/10 (Tom's lullaby treatment is missing and its filled with plain powerchords and ohohohohss, hah Am I doing this again?? no no)

Well, subjectively I give every blink album a 10/10.

But realistically I give it 7/10

Man.. I had no idea that you all passionately HATE Tom, people used to like him back in AP.net days. Honestly i was expecting some backup/support on my posts (that surely Tom's songwriting is missing from "California") but it didn't happen... you all grouped up and went hammerino on me, we exchanged a bunch of sarcastic/insulting posts/memes which had nothing to do with Blink or music and yeh.. that was pretty much my epic debut in forums

Still..wish we could have a friendly conversation about music like civilized human beings.

Well.. From what I remember, when conversation got "hot" and you all managed to pissed me off with your sarcastic posts I said something about "they should have gone with different name cause this is not Blink182, Tom was an important part of this band sound!" and many of you said you are happy they moved on with Matt cause Tom was a total a-hole.

 

Well yeah, many people are. And can think tom is an A-hole. But doesn't mean we don't respect the dude still especially for his past works. I like matt in the band now, but if it was 2004 Tom it would be a different story. I haven't seen one person hate on you for anything tom related

 

I don't/didn't care about any of that. You thinking California lacked Tom's songwriting is absolutely fine. I like California, it's a fun album. Other people not liking it isn't ever going to change me liking that record and isn't even worth an argument.

So once again, my problem with you in that thread was not you missing Tom in blink, it was your misogony and homophobia. I experience a lot of that homophobic shit in real life, and i have no need for it here.

But sure, i can be civilized.

 

I get bummed when I think about how good Neighborhoods could have been if they all recorded in the same room with a producer and cut a few filler songs

Also I remember being so excited for LP7 when they were going to "record it like they did for untitled" but then Tom went crazy and we got California.

and about Kesha.. I called her "chubbier J.Lawrence" and apologized that I actually meant she is beautiful and good looking woman cause here in my country we find curvy girls beautiful. I apologized for my poor English and then ofcourse you said this is an excuse too.

I never said that I didn't threw a bunch of insults back, conversation went out of control. Try to keep your cool when they make fun of your posts, can you? So you want me to repeat it.. well I ll say it again "keep sucking each other" this is what I said... and used that meme "NOW KISS" in response of their bromance, grouped up to humiliate a newbie who made some wild-statements on the most beloved band of site. Seriously if that makes me homophobic, should I start worrying about your IQ levels??? (more insults, add this to my collection) It was just a humble response to their sarcastic comments on my statements, or should I call it bullying? Is bullying accepted? Should I play victim too now?

Yeah! I hate about 60% of it. Then enjoy like 30%. 10% I tolerate lol.
