They haven't said a date yet, but we supposedly will find out 'really soon'.

The sooner the better I need this album in my life.

 

I think because of how well the campaign went and getting Sprinkle and a legit mastering, I think there is label interest. Plus, waiting for vinyl is always a factor. They’ve been pretty transparent on why it’s delayed.

 

I'm all for it to get the best quality album we can get, especially after the amazing Bang Bang.

I do predict we'll have this before 2017 ends though.

 

I think it really depends on two things. One is if they went with a label and the label wants time to traditionally roll it out. The second is the vinyl plant and where they are in the queue. If they stick with self-releasing you can mitigate things by doing a digital release for pledgers and then to the public. And then doing a second release once the vinyl is able to ship. I just think there a some moving parts and it all goes back to the interest fans generated with their own money.

I don't think there was ever a question it would be funded, but I think how quickly it was funded and continued to generate interest surprised the band.

 

This is true. I guess we will just have to wait and see. Bang Bang will continue to hold me over until we get more info or another song, that is for sure. I'm glad they got such a good response this band deserves it

I did! It's good. I hope it's a hit. But then again I thought Wake Up and I'm Alive should've been hits, but for some reason their big rock songs just don't find the mass audience that they could. I feel like these guys should be on the same level as, say, Rise Against.

 

Maybe I'm naive, but i am hoping this new album propels them to that status

 

I like SOTY and everything, but Rise Against is at an entirely other level than they are. They’re headlining 5000 or so capacity venues. I think if they have good support, 1000-1500 capacity venues is realistic for SOTY.

Just my opinion, would love to be wrong

Would just be tough, in my opinion, because they have more or less been inactive for several years. I just think for a lot of people it’s “out of sight, out of mind”

 

I just want them to come to Cleveland!

 

And Nashville!


Though if they came to Cleveland around September next year thats bachelor party territory

 

I revisited The Black Swan the other day, man I forgot how good that album was. The Antidote and Angel In The Swamp are top 10 SOTY for sure

 

A top ten is so hard for this amazing band.
Is This My Fate, Antidote, Welcome to Our New War, Children Sing, Won Threw Eight, Stereo, Dive Right In and Dream is Over all deserve to be there.
