I'm excited to get to Fuzz Minor. Seems to be generating a lot of buzz in this thread

 

Just finished the record. Absolutely incredible! It's too early to pick a favorite, but the 1-2 punch of Fuzz Minor and Infinite Steve were so good

 

Faker was that incredible feeling you get when you legitimately don't understand what is going on in a song structurally, but you're excited to keep listening to understand it better.

 

Coming off my super hot take of not liking Harmlessness and thinking they got incredibly boring live:

I like this a lot. I feel like each song does a better job of differentiating itself from the last one compared to Harmlessness. I usually like more succinct albums compared to long, sprawled out epic stuff, so this should sit with me better than Harmlessness. Time will tell.

 

I adore Harmlessness BUT I agree with you about the live show. Been pretty underwhelmed both times I've seen them.

Enjoying this a lot, and I feel like its much more accessible for new listeners than some of their older material

 

Really enjoyed the back half of the album.

 

They used to be great every time but the last few times I have no idea what happened

 

Feels like the album really shifts at Blank #12. I'm sure that was intentional.

the way Infinite Steve breaks down is very similar to how January 10th does.

 

Both this and Harmlessness are really good albums but WIE will definitely be one of my fave album in 2010s, they hit something really special with that album

 

Good job dog still has some variants on their store. I just picked one up. Just letting anyone know that wants to buy it on vinyl and get a really cool limited press.

whatever, i think they are great to see live regardless of the members. they know how to use dynamics in their favor. big parts become huge. their show could only be ruined by a venue with bad sound.

 

lots of people were getting bummed about their aimless noodling and 5 minute long ambient segments but that's changed now with the new lineup. i saw them in january but they were still getting adjusted to the changes, i'm excited for tonight

exactly. always wild to see what 7-10 members could do on that stage.

Faker I believe is another one about Nicole

 

I saw them last year I think the day before Long Live Happy Birthday came out officially. They closed with Katamari Duquette. It was transcendent.
