I love Sean Davis as a S....more in the 3rd than in the 2nd...but the idea that Billings was there and we didnt take him, with all the S options still out there, makes my head hurt a little

That said, Steelers are clearly targeting a specific type in the secondary. So, Im fine with that.

He is. He sucked at CB in the scheme switch, but before that, he was nasty at S. He's gonna play SS to start, but he could honestly do both. Basically, Shamarko is not making the 53-man after this pick

 

what is the consensus on Xavien Howard?

I think I took him in round 3 of our first mock...I like the player and I think he fits schematically, just curious what others think

 

Disagree. Have you see him move? He'd obviously start as a 2-gap guy in a 3-4 scheme, but, I think he could be used in several ways.

There must be something in his medical throwing him off. He's better than 2 or 3 guys taking at DT so far
