When everyone is getting married and I sigh loudly

 

the older I get the more and more I realize marriage is something SUPER SERIOUS and I'm glad I didn't let me early-mid 20s past with that mistake... I'm pushing 30 and still have no clarity on whos truly marriage material outside of what I know for sure I need to see, pretty much all my friend who got married have been divorced (and even I went through a terrible breakup during an engagement)..... anyone upset they aint married or feeling that pressure, breathe easy. fuck all that. date/be happily a couple without that extra pressure as long as possible.

 

A little late but I recently colored my hair a pastel color. Everyone at my work has been waiting for it and they seem to like it and even my boss (surprisingly). My bf hasn't seen in irl yet.

 

Dude, same! A bunch of weddings and engagement photos have swarmed my newsfeed. Although I'm in a new relationship, I don't want think about marriage rn. I also fear that if we're together in the future, he'll decide he doesn't want to marry me- which would be devastating since I've never met anyone like this guy before or anyone that's came close. He's pretty much has all or nearly all the qualities i want but didn't think I'd find

I honestly didn't think of having dyed hair as a big thing until reading this thread, I guess I just consider it totally normal around here?
I used to have teal/blue hair and then was black for a while and then for the past year and a half it's been black kinda ombred into teal. Now the teal is only at the very ends of my hair but I still love it and keep up with it.
Also, for what it's worth I'm 26? But I'm a full time student and my jobs aren't affected by it. All the more reason to have it now, as I'm unsure it will be possible in the future.

 

I personally don't care for colored hair but I'm glad others get enjoyment out of it. I used to like it a lot until I dated a cosmetologist that dyed her hair a different color every month for 6 years who utterly destroyed me.

was dating this girl that the local DSA co-chair introduced me to back in July. we broke up today over lunch. It was as good of a break up as it can be, but I'm still bummed about it. We both agreed that we enjoy hanging out with each other and talking to each other, but she didn't want a physical relationship with me. So, after those bummed out feelings go away for me after a while, we'll try and be platonic friends. I'll be fine, I am just going to go get drunk and make bad decisions so I don't have to process my emotions for the next few days.
