Man, until we can get the football world to agree to stop taking RISKS on players accused of sexual and domestic violence, animal abuse, etc...etc.. I'm just going to think it's stupid as fuck to even pretend like being a diva is a reason not to sign someone whose career has started better than the vast majority of hall of famers.

If he played for the Eagles, I would probably own his jersey in every color ever created in Eagles history. To include that hideous blue and yellow Eagles jersey.

of course, the fucked up counterpoint to that is, at least until a couple of years ago, beating the hell out of your wife didnt cause you locker room problems. Being a diva in the vein of Ochocinco or TO did.

Hell, they'll put Ray Lewis and Marvin Harrison in the HOF Day 1, even though both are probably murderers/accessory to murder. But TO is gonna have to wait cause he threw a press conference once...

  4. AB > OBJ

It took Antonio Brown five seasons to match OBJ's receptions and yards, and six seasons to match his touchdowns.
OBJ's worst season his AB's third best.

  6. AB wasn't featured immediately like OBJ was. I'll take brown 2014 to now over OBJ 2014 to now

I'd take OBJ. Similar enough numbers with an inferior QB, no running game to speak of, a terrible line, and only one competent receiver to share the field with.

But also, we are talking about contracts and stuff and I'd rather sign a 24 year old with a historic start than a 29 year old who took a few years to get going.

I wonder what kind of opinion you'd have if OBJ played for the Steelers...

  9. It's a shame Brown will be catching passes from Dobbs next year

are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

obj was also a first round pick coming out of an sec school. brown was a sixth rounder coming out of a mac school. unless ab's first camp was bonkers, there's no way he was going to get the same kind of looks obj got initially. as much as i love ab, i'd take obj over him most days.

If you made me pick between AB and OBJ I'd say yes

they'd probably actually both do even better on the opposite team; OBJ aided by ben's desire to throw deep every other throw, and Eli aided by AB being able to run crisp, shorter routes for possession throws.

AB would probably catch 150+ balls in the Giant offense, and Beckham would probably go 15+ TD every year

Remember when Hopkins was included in the OBJ conversation and then the world discovered he can't beat press coverage

So, to be clear, we are taking a stand against irrational emotion by being irrationally emotional?

Whats the opinion on the Bills thus far? Been happy seeing their early success so far, my dad and uncle (RIP) follows them but I haven't been able to see much since I work Sundays now.

They have a better coach but they're still far from a complete team. They wanted to be a lot worse than they really are but will finish at least 6-10.

This is what I was thinking since they did make moves to get worse, was surprising to see them beating the Broncos of all teams. Perhaps that is a good omen if even in a season that won't end as much... potential if anything... but alas, Bills & potential don't really know how to go together lol.
I wouldn't mind my Dad finally getting thrown a bone, kinda need that really he's getting to the point he won't even watch football I need the only other person in my family (outside my girl but she only cares about the Skins) to talk football with lol.

I wonder who would be the better receiver in a world where they never committed crimes or broke rules, Josh Gordon or Justin Blackmon

Going with Josh Gordon, easily. But that might just be cus I seen more of him out there flexing.
