I'm seriously so excited for his next solo album. Painkillers was so good, I need more Brian Fallon in my life. Hope I can make it to a date when he tours again.

It's weird, I always kind of forget how impactful Gaslight/Crowes/Fallon are on my life. They're one of my go-to bands when I'm in a rough patch, and I don't think I've ever truly realized how important they are to me until the past year or so.

I think he's probably a super cool down to earth guy to meet in person but it probably really depends on the circumstances that you meet him in. i saw TGA in NYC years ago at Radio City and I was walking to the venue and walked right by him on the street and he was by himself smoking and I wanted so bad to just say hi and shake his hand but he seems like the kind of guy that would, not get annoyed by that, but he just likes those moments to himself.

I love Sink or Swim but the songs they just got put up against are TOO good to not vote for

They are as synonymous with my early 20’s as water and air. Theur tour cycle was always
A market tour in the fall/winter with 2 NYC dates
B market tour in the summer with a date in Clifton Park and a date in Huntington

And we’d always hit them all. My first “true love” was the girl I just mentioned. We dated for five years, and our first date was me bringing her to a Gaslight show on the Slang Tour with Fake Problems. Three days after we broke up I caught them on an off date in a drunken emotional stupor. There’s pretty much a Gaslight memory for all major life events from 18-25

So suffice to say Spotify can fuck off for saying they’re not in my top 50 played

Probably should have put 45 over 1930.

I've only seen them once which really sucks. It was a little after Handwritten came out, and the Bouncing Souls opened. They were fantastic, and I constantly beat myself up for how many times I've missed them because of random shit coming up

SO many good shows there. I remember one was a couple of weeks after they released the original version of Halloween on the 45 RPM club 7” and I was so stoked that they played it

The only time I saw them was their final performance, at Reading Festival. I wish I got around to seeing them before the hiatus but I kept saying "next time"... Sigh...

I saw them in 2012 for the "45" video shoot and in November of that year in Philly, and twice in 2015 in Baltimore and in Lancaster, PA in a tiny club.

On a side note, I'm legit excited to be the only person to vote for Desire next pick haha.

45 (1930 is good, but 45 is top tier TGA)
Ain't That a Shame (I really like both of these, I just wanted to throw ATAS some love, since it won't win anyway)
    American Slang (No contest)
Biloxi Parish (Blue Dahlia is good and has some great, disparate parts, but they don't flow together as well as they should and it's clear to me why this was a b-side)
Blue Jeans & White T-Shirts (BJ&WTS is one of my favorite TGA tracks, so this was a no-brainer)

    We are either gonna get

We Came to Dance v. We Did it When We Were Young
    or
We Did it When We Were Young v. We’re Getting a Divorce

    Both nightmare scenarios

Idk, for me, We Did it When We Were Young loses pretty easily in both those scenarios

I'm anticipating this round to get an influx of votes over the next 2 hours. I'm out of work at 5pm (EST), I'll check it again when I get home and move on to the next round around 6pm (EST)

    WHATTTT
I love it. Those layered vocal tracks, man. It's one of the only songs Brian had a hard time singing and playing simultaneously, so I never ever got to see it.

Just a quick question: If we're going alphabetically shouldn't "The Backseat" and "The '59 Sound" have appeared in this round?
