It's a well articulated, thoughtful post, though! They're totally different albums and don't really need to be compared imo. I love both for different reasons

 

yea i know, someone asked which one we would pick. it's really tough and it could change by the end of the year but thats where I am at right now.

 

Both are definitely full album experiences and that keeps me from comparing them much even if I do have a preference.

 

I agree, and I think everyone should know how much I love that Manchester record, I still play it almost every day or at least every other day.

I started a bracket for The Gaslight Anthem in their thread if you're all interested. @carrytheweight I confess I borrowed you introductory statement. Same rules still apply, however, we're not doing it by albums. We're doing each individual song in alphabetical order. 70 songs total, 5 matches per round, and a wild card round will take place.

In descending age order: "hold" is my dad's handwriting, "on to" is my mom, "who" is my oldest brother, "you" is my middle brother and "LOVE" is my handwriting.

EDIT: I guess it's kinda hard to tell but this is my upper arm/bicep.
