Well yes! Now to decide 2 or 3..

 

I may try and put together a little instrumental jam or something... I'm not much for lyrics.

If that doesn't work out, I'll submit a song from my old band... but that was like 5+ years ago.

 

My guess is plenty of peiple will have songs lyring around they just want to tweak, so if there's any month to double up on, this is it

Writing lyrics for an original is like the worst thing ever.

 

I hate writing lyrics so much haha

 

I love it and hate it. When i'm writing it's literally all I can think about until the song is done...so that part kinda drives me crazy. When it's done though, the sense of accomplishment is so fulfilling.

 

I sent in one original so far.

 

I can prolly piece together a few from my soul punk opera. I have fragments of two movements, maybe I can sync them up with the moon phase closest to the submission date.

Kinda wanted to do a Halloween song too.

I'm trying to nail down lyrics to one of my songs before I record it. I have other demos I could probably send in, but I set myself the challenge of writing a song specifically for this compilation.

100pts for the person who recognises the acoustic guitar bed though.

 

Hmm. I'll send in one that's been released already and one that's first public sighting is this comp.

 

i think i'm going to submit an older song no one's heard, a song off of my band's new album, and then write a brand new jam for the comp. That's my goal at least!

 

speaking of... what's the ETA on those records being shipped? I saw the update that you got them in!

 

We're finishing up all the indiegogo prizes and what not, and we plan on shipping everything starting in Oct.

 

I'm trying to decide whether I should submit the first song I wrote and recorded when I was 18 as a time capsule thing or if I should redo it

 

I've been toying with the idea of sharing an old song i wrote in high school and then a re-done 2017 version of the same song, haha. could be fun.
