Hope Adam's Song eventually makes it's way back into the setlist.

I sincerely think this album is going to be huge. People's response has been really positive so far, and I'm seeing a lot of people on my facebook feed that I didn't even know liked blink sharing it.

Im liking that my oldest daughter (18 now) is liking them, and doesnt want lawn seats, and wants up front to crowd surf.... Sorry, too rich for my blood this time around. College is calling her, first and foremost, and that bill supercedes the rest.

I'm planning to fly to The U.S. to see them on the last 3 shows in Cali (I thought it was only fair to see them in California, since this is the whole theme of the album). If anyone wants to meet up, just let me know.

i like bands who can't sing good Supporter

excited for all the love they are getting again. still remember scanning enema in the electronics section while my mom went grocery shopping in fifth/sixth grade and listening to the 30 second clips over and over again, begging my mom to buy it for me. she wouldn't because of the parental warning.

blink was the first band that ever did something like that to me and ignited that craving for music inside my brain. forever grateful to them for that and happy to see them still doing it ~2 decades later.

    special band, fellas.

I still wouldn't skip the blink show for that though.

I have to admit that I was one of those people that was always big Tom fanboy and doubted Mark could hack it without him.

Well, I stand pleasantly corrected. This song is an absolute banger. I can't remember the last time I replayed a song as much as this one. I can't wait for the album, and I hope that Skiba is here to stay (while still releasing Alkaline Trio and Sekrets music too!)

Is he practicing his acting for films by playing the part of the government official as well?

I'm moving to LA in the fall and was planning on hitting up the Forum show solo. I'm down to get a chorus.fm gathering at a bar beforehand!

That sucks, I really loved KUTS. I have accepted that it's going to be a while until we get another Trio album.

I bought a new bike last night, popped in some headphones, put "Bored to Death" on repeat a few times and hit the trails. All I could think was that this record was a success already even if "Bored to Death" was the only song on it people enjoyed.

When "Up All Night" came out, we were all so stoked that the band was back, but there was an obvious vibe that people didn't actually enjoy the song. The fact that we were all so hyped for this new record/song, and then the single COMPLETELY lived up to all of our expectations feels phenomenal. It feels so great to be genuinely happy about new blink music.

Let's do this! I'm probably going with a couple of friends and it would be cool to meet new people, especially from this thread.

Don't recreate the scene, or reinvent the meanings Supporter

After the Falcon gets done with their support for their awesome new record, The Lawrence Arms should make their follow up to Metropole. While that's happening and Matt Skiba is doing Blink, Dan and Derek from the Trio should join Jay and his crew to make a new Suicide Machines record. Matt doing Blink really throws the Trio timing off, so I want to see as much good happen as possible during that downtime. No Trio for a while, but to get new Blink, the Falcon, Lawrence Arms, and Suicide Machines albums? That's a pretty nice haul haha. Ok, someone punch me in the face and bring me back to reality.

Now I Know This World Isn’t Spinning Just For Me Prestigious

While I never doubted Mark, my girlfriend and I have always before this been huge Tom fans even supporting Angels. Around Love part 2 though we started to lose interest in angels, as the albums went from us enjoying all the songs to some. Dream walker was the same(although a step up from love 2). Then the blink drama happened, and both of us kind of lost hope for Tom. That horrible horrible solo release of his confirmed it for us as we streamed it and disliked pretty much all of it. Which stinks because as I said, before this we both were huge tom fans. I accepted Skiba and waited patiently to see if we were going to be pleased with the new blink.

Boy were we ever when BTD dropped. So stoked on this new blink, and sadly tom is part of our shared past now. Blink with Skiba hits the spot like they use to( we even liked neighborhoods, she has even if she falls tattooed on her arm). DEFINITLey going to the tour and already preordered this album.

    @MattW182 Supporter

Gotta say, I agree with a lot of this. I think its a shame that it looks like Blink won't lose anything with Tom, but I've got to say I haven't been a fan of anything he's done individually since I-Empire, and was only really tolerating him in Blink by the end. If Tom was involved in this Blink album, I don't think I'd be excited for it. I'd check it out when it was released, but I wouldn't be marking the date on my calander or going out of my way to get it. As it is, I probably will be, and I'm confident the album will live up to expectations. If its better than a 7/10, I'll be very happy indeed.

  25. What I think we have found is that Tom is at his best when he's with Mark and Travis. I can't see him putting out any other noteworthy music in the future.
