I, also again, went through a lot of their catalog on shuffle yesterday. So many songs still bring a lot of joy out of me. I might not have much interest in their new music, but I don't think I'll ever stop enjoying their old stuff. Dude Ranch remains my favorite

... and I heard BTD for the first time on the radio today, and cranked it up.

    Sounded nice in my car.

    WELCOME THRILLHO Supporter

Apple Music updated their blink picture to include Skiba.

I guess this means it's for real now.

    RIP EmoPunkKid28: 2002-2016 Prestigious

I preordered just the vinyl, immediately regretted it. Thennnnn had a few beers and preordered the signed vinyl package. Oops. Hopefully there won't be any issues cancelling that first order....

Same. I'm not even really a blink fan, the only album of there's I like is untitled, and shamelessly I'm only here for Skiba, but seeing all the discussion and people geeking out and writing long ass paragraphs and expressing genuine feelings for the bands music as I do for Trio/Matt related projects is so neat. Usually I do that with people who could not give less of a shit and feel borderline insane for caring about music/an artist so much, especially at my age, but coming here and seeing people still so passionate about it is so great. On top of how socially conscious the site and Jason have become.

    Good shit.

In almost thirty so I can relate. I have like 1 friend and my girlfriend I can geek out about this stuff with, and my gf only about blink because she geeks about them too. That's why I come here lol

  11. My two favorite Blink releases have always been Dude Ranch and Untitled. I said this back on AP, but I think Dude Ranch is the best version of "pop punk" Blink and Untitled is the best version of "experimental" Blink.

And I'm 100% stoked on California.

Cool to see @Jason Tate have a good affection for Wendy Clear. I went on a small rant about how good that song is on the ground level of this thread. A lot of people seem to agree with us. As I stated then, I hope that song is back in the set list for this tour.

I got in on Blink with Enema after seeing the What's My Age Again video at my grandma's house. I wanted to get that record immediately, but I didn't want the awkward interaction asking my mom for it, given the name and artwork of it. I was into '90s alt, rap, and metal at the time, but that song hit me and resonated with me. The following Christmas, the same grandma of mine took me to Castleton mall in Indianapolis to buy me two CD's to make my Christmas haul whole with my brother and sister. I knew immediately which albums I wanted: Limp Bizkit - Significant Other and Blink 182- Enema of the State. My mom and aunts were shopping in the department stores and my grandma could give two shits what albums I was picking up. Needless to say, those two albums were in constant rotation for me going forward in grade school. When my sister got home from college, I realized she had a bunch of pre-Enema Blink that I got into. Enema was the album that made me realize I like and identify with punk rock. That lead me to early Green Day, NFG, Rancid, and Dropkick Murphys. The rest is history.

  14. I don't know if I've ever seen them play Wendy Clear live. I really hope they do on this tour.

Also, was listening to TOYPAJ this morning and I think Everytime I look for you is the best song on that album

You speak with opinions to seek in so deep, but it's alright.

I love that blink is getting attention again. It means they'll get a whole bunch of new kids checking out their discography. That's exciting

My favorite blink records are untitled and enema. Enema is what defines pop punk for me and untitled is such an amazing experiment from those guys. The engineering and production is incredible. It's heart wrenching they broke up after what I consider their best work. I'd love to hear more stuff inspired by untitled on the new album.

    I am a haunted house. I'm superstitious.

I was reading the booklet a few weeks ago and saw your name there, it was definitely a "wow, that's awesome" moment. You are all right, blink-182 is the band that makes us feel good. I walked home listening to Bored to Death on repeat this week and I bet people passing me on the street were thinking "why is this guy smiling so much?", because I had the biggest grin on my face. This is the only band in the world that can pull such an effect on me.
