I'm not going to even bother to comment on this. I stopped liking Gd years ago and I'm still a fanboy of blink as you guys well know. I cannot make an unbiased discussion on this cause y'all KNOW who I'm gonna say.

Is it true that Apple Shampoo is about Elyse Rogers from Dance Hall Crashers and this song is a response?

I looked it up and the only thing for certain I could find is that "Josie" was the name of her dog and Mark did confirm that's where it came from.

I'm obviously like, 15 years late or something but finding this out is cute if it's true.

I grew up loving both bands and they were both insanely influential to me. I can very easily say GD is the overall better band when it comes to musicianship and writing. Though both reply heavily on formulaic writing.

My stance on the whole blink vs. Green Day thing. I like blink better than Green Day. I think Green Day puts on a better live performance than blink. I have more fun at blink shows though because I like their songs more.

Definitely sounds like a response to

"Enema of State" and "A Place in the Sun" are like time capsules for me, you play the opening tracks "Dumpweed" or "Four" and it's like time-traveling back in 1999.

For those who are not familiar with Lit, Blink182 approves (cameo at 1:21)
