Just got done reading a conversation between my friends on Facebook, talking about how horrible the Deftones and Circa Survive are. I stopped reading once I read "there hasn't been a single good album released this decade."

Oh man. I've added so much music since SF came out that it no longer appears in my recently added (default "home") section when I open Apple Music.

 

I still get chills at the Daisy callback

Anways the solo in In The Water although not as flashy as in 137 is just as strong/impressive. Man Vin is really on top of his game on this record.

I'm on No Control now. Thinking a second listen is going to be in order after the album wraps up (and after a bathroom break)

 

All his records are so different that it's tough to give a good RIYL. He started out as a pretty traditional folk guy. He is definitely not that anymore. You'd probably dig his stuff, though.

It's a good bath time album - pretty relaxed, no swearing...my daughter seems to like it

 

Watching LP's video for One More Light before listening to SF bummed me out tho. I mean I knew it would but I still decided to watch it anyways. Was never a huge LP fan but yeah that song now and Heavy can't help but get major feels after what happened. Still so sad that he's gone.
