Welcome to the working world, right? In order to do the Fest and get the holiday time off, I had to sacrifice a day of Riot. It makes sense but still sucks haha.

I took the day off and yet still somehow ended up having to get up at 6:30 (I drove my friend to the airport). But whatever I was too excited to stay asleep anyway.

Not to harp on that free Orwells show at House of Vans, but let me harp for a minute. That was seriously the best free show. Good bands at a cool venue and free beer and cider. I mean, you don't beat that. I am now pissed at myself for not being in the city when Dillinger Four and the Lawrence Arms played there.

They've also had shows with Rise Against, Cap'N Jazz, and Future Islands :-)

That's awesome! I just moved in July so this was my first time going.

Still can't believe there was free beer at that show last night so cool. Spent so much less money than I thought

Emo Night was super fun last night. Retirement Party are the best band

Anyone looking for a ticket to the Bayside/NFG aftershow tonight? My friend might have one.

How was the Jawbreaker screening last night? I heard they did a Q & A during, so now I'm even more bummed that I wasn't able to get tickets.

Today feels pretty chill so far, but it is sooooo sunny and hot. Definitely bring extra sunscreen. Also there is only one water station but it has two giant professional dispensers so I think it will avoid the horrible lines and swamp around it.

Security was also way more strict than last year, at least for VIP. I had to open my bag, including my cough drop bag and she looked at my hairbrush for like 10 seconds before giving it back. So maybe be really careful about sneaking stuff in.

I don't recall seeing it in the FAQ, but are the restrictions on bottle sizes for sunscreen (and other products)? I definitely plan on having some in my bag this weekend.

There’s def going to be some sound bleeding between the stages with them being so close and you can stand the the radicals stage and see both main stages.

It was really cool! The Q&A was fun, but no real tasty info except they might consider touring if Sunday goes well.

The doc was really, really well done. I loved it!

  17. Hi where should we go tonight if we aren't going to an after show??? We fucked ip and somehow didn't think about this, we want cheap drinks, good music, and fun times! Oh and we're staying in Ukrainian village so ideally not too far away from there!

my friend said the hotelier did not sound good at all

  20. A few guitar parts were way out of tune and there were some sloppy drum fills, but I've seen them play worse before. I thought Christian at least sounded great.

  21. I thought they sounded good, saw the first half of their set and they sounded like every other time I've seen them - not perfect but passionate

  22. Looks like that's a half mile from where we'll staying, probably gonna have to check it out! Lmk if you're there,we can shotgun a beer or srink one normally

Hotelier was great, your friend sounds hard to please.

Started off with some mediocre pop punk because nothing else really interested me (Grayscale, Like Pacific, Sleep On It).
FYS was fun, but played a wonky set and ended 7 minutes early. Hotelier was great, like I said.

Made a great decision and watched CHON instead of The Story So Far. CHON was fantastic, the last half of TSSF I'm watching...is not.

Little bit of Mayday later, then gonna try and get a good spot for NIN.

Hey Parker, saying "Daughters" is about men AND women in a super condescending tone doesn't change how much of a sexist twat you are.

TSSF sound terrible man; definitely the final nail in the coffin for me.
