I watched this vid so much in 08 to 10. Was really bummed with how the studio version came out comparitively.

 

I definitely remember being hyped up for "Frozen Creek" based on the live stuff and assuming it would be one of the best songs on LP3. I don't hate how the studio version turned out completely, but it definitely had some more potential.

"Strange Terrain" is another one that, while I really enjoy it, I think could've been much better (and gotten far more respect from fans, who seem to overlook it) with different production. The core riffs and melody are pretty awesome.

okay, after first listen, there wasn't a lot that initially grabbed me, but it is a more, pleasant, listen than most AG projects. dont get me wrong, i love circa/saosin, but usually listening through an entire album can get a little exhausting, and im ready to go to something else when its done. Im ready to press play again immediately. I thing the shorter runtime this time around definitely plays into that.

also, i feel like this and descensus are night and day, and i love how the cover art reflects that. Descensus is a desert, where this is a... more peaceful place. i dont know. i like it.

 

"Never Tell A Soul" has been stuck in my head all day.

 

also im seeing a lot of people say the highlights on here are ones that didnt grab me on initial listen, which honestly makes me more excited to keep listening.

 

The guitar during the second half of Stays chorus is fucking crazy echo weird sounding. Sounds amazing, love it

 

how cool is the bass in The Hex tho i love that weird distorted gritty effect on it

Just never gone in for leaks personally. Is there a legit way to hear this yet outside the singles?

 

You could probably find it on YouTube song by song, if you can rationalize that as not leaking

 

Am I the only one that viewed Pikachu as a girl and Raichu as a boy? I can't be the only one.

 

In the anime I think they're both boys and the gender ratio in the games is heavily male if I remember correctly, like the stsarters to make it harder for eggs

But also none of that matters in any sense
