I mean since it's not on the official track listing it is literally tacked on, haha. It's an interesting alternate approach to the record! I just think there is a 0% chance I'd like it more than what's actually there.

 

I'd rather just listen to that appendage ep seperate

 

I didn't just throw this together, it literally took me years of moving songs around to get this flow lol. So no, not tacked on ya mook. But if THIS was the album that was BSN, it'd be definitely better than Descensus and almost as good as Juturna

 

Because it's better than 10/12 of the songs on the album yes

 

I don't feel that way, only song I don't like on blue sky is I felt free

 

That's not how it works but okay. It's a nice little playlist, but by definition it is no longer BSN, and therefore all the songs you took from an entirely separate release and put onto this compilation are tacked on. I'm not saying you can't listen to it that way or enjoy it, but at least call it what it is.

 

Can we at least agree that the title "Blue Sky Noise" feels like it applies way more to the vibe of the Appendage songs? Most of them feel brighter and more "blue sky"ish. The album is often not "blue sky"ish

 

yes, i feel the same... with "sollata / at a loss" occurs the same...in these videos, this song appears in a different way... and it is only a demo

I think this rewriting process , there is a relation with the bad moments that Anthony lived in that time...

about the unknown song, for me, was sounded like a incredible vibe, and i put a high hype on it...and never it appears

BSN sounds like they made a major label record.
Has some radio tracks. Has way more refined mixing. Anthony voice is less "live".

I do adore frozen creek, get out, spirit and dyed.
Lazarus and sleep underground would have made that album in a heart beat for me.

Backmask feels like a b side
Stare and Everyway feel like AG solo songs with a circa layer.

I remember those BSN teaser clips from the studio too like 6-9 months out. Those kind of things are almost always fatal for me and leave me disappointed in the final recordings. It's happened so many times with various bands. Not that it ever stops me from listening when they pop up, sadly.

 

Now I hate it because I don't want to do it for this new album again, ugh

I just count them as one long song I think, it makes sense to me

And any closer ranking without Your Friends Are Gone at #1 just does not make sense to me.

Lazarus would literally be "tacked on" if you decided to just add it to BSN. BSN is just fine as it is why waste time trying to rearrange it. thats just kinda dumb

now this album definitely doesnt stack up to Astro Lounge but its still a good album

 

Ya know... how sick would it be if they re recorded Handshakes since it never got past demo form. It's a special song. What if they just threw it on an album after all these years.
