The thing that is good about that deal is that the GOP don't get to take credit for something the majority of people want passed. The main thing, the people in that program are safe but in terms of politics it's good that they don't get pretend they give a damn.

You forget that they'll shit their pants if he doesn't endorse them and that it's an extremely popular bill all around. They would've passed one anyway, now there's a preference for one rather than one that Ryan offered or some shit.
