Damn. TSsF/Turnstile in Boston is the same day as Hatebreed in Worcester.

Pretty sure I'm going to make the trip to Philly. The church is on my bucket list and this seems like the perfect opportunity

For the CT date at least, support is Laura Stevenson and Chris Farren. Venue leaked it.

Yeah they're playing all 3 dates except Chris isn't playing Brooklyn. I guess there are more special guests. Jeffs announcement said those 3 and more

There were more bros knocking into my sisters at Tigers Jaw a few weeks ago than any hardcore shows we've been to recently. Arseholes aren't exclusive to certain genres.

not at all? it's the same sort of fans that would be at these shows though. i just can't imagine these shows being safe places for people that don't want to get kicked in the face

Looks like bands are making make up plans for Houston Open Air being canceled.
Marilyn Manson/New Years Day date for Houston on October 14 popped up on Facebook.

We tend to stand nearer the back these days, where everyone who doesn't want to get hurt stands too and it's fine mostly. Whereas we did the same at Tigers Jaw and guys started "moshing"(if you could even call it that) right next to us.

But that's just my experience. Obviously it could be completely different for others.

I mean, I went to Self Help Philly, and during ADTR's set, some 40-some year old man came up and punched my 5'0, 95 pound sister in the teeth. She wasn't even in the pit.
I get a bit of accidental shoving. But assholes are at every show, and that was just insane.

Yeah, for as much as this site bashes the Warped Tour/Pop Punk crowd nowadays, as someone who went to 5 Ozzfests and 5 Mayhem Fests over the years, the Warped Tour bro crowd is far more easy to stomach than the toothless angry racist drunken 40+ manchildren that inhabited those fests.

I still miss those fests, though.

^Even beyond that, it depends on the type of environment less than the genre in my eyes. I've dealt with rougher dudebro crowds at a Gaslight Anthem show than I have at all the black metal shows I've gone to recently. Even within hardcore, people are generally pretty respectful in a smaller, intimate environment. For instance, the Black Mask/Joy/Ledge show I went to was rowdy this weekend with people dancing, but people were respectful to one another. You go to a bigger venue or festival type environment, and that's where the douchenozzles start to appear.

That was happening everywhere during that set, I think some of these dude bros just go to one show every year and have no understanding on how to treat the people around them in the crowd.

I saw Kid Rock and Foreigner 2 years ago. That was hands down the worst collective of people I've ever been around at any concert.

I mean it really is the logic of assholes being at every show, The single worst grouping of misbehaved douchers I have ever encountered would be be a tie between FOB and Brand new.

TBS always has truly awful people at their shows. Every time something terrible has happened to me at a show, it's been at a TBS show. It's gotten to the point where I don't even know if I want to see them again bc I'm honestly afraid to.
