Ya'll are crazy if you don't think Tom would be back one day. It will absolutely happen. Not anytime soon, but I'd put money on Tom touring with them in 4 years.

If Slash could come back to GNR, Brian Wilson to Beach Boys, James Ihra to Smashing Pumpkins and Danzig to Misfits, then Tom could definitely be back in Blink. Never forget that Blink is a corporation and money talks.

I wonder how long blink will realistically last? Will Mark still be playing What's My Age Again when he's 65?

Morrissey and Johnny Marr haven't been able to get back to playing together again though. Not everyone in music irons out their animosity.

Probably for as long as fans care.

Absolutely. If The Beach Boys can keep singing songs like Surfin USA and Fun Fun Fun in their 70s, so can Blink.

Yeah The Smiths are definitely the exception, but I feel like they're two totally different circumstances.

Tom and Mark have already set aside their differences once. I'm not sure if Mark will be able to do that to himself again.

  11. Plenty of punk bands in their 50's still going strong.

FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

Their summer tour last year was pretty big though and their Tom-less record outsold Neighborhoods in a fifth of the time. Guessing money is fine.

There will be a show at least with Tom at some point. For nostalgia, not for money or any thing close to a successful attempt at a reunion.

Just because they're making money now doesn't mean it's gonna stay that way. When Blink first reunited in 2009 their summer tour broke records for how much money it made. 4 years later and it was a totally different story. Which is why I said Tom wouldn't be joining anytime soon......there's too much money to be made currently. But that bubble will burst eventually, and the Tom talks will begin.

  18. I wish Blink would have gone on a slightly different path. I wish they didn't get SO massive to the point where it wasn't as much about the music/friendships anymore. Money talks, but there's bands like Descendents who are just really great life-long friends and they're just doing it if they want to and when they want to. It's not a corporation as much as what Blink became. Siiiiiigh... if only...

  19. Yeah. Always kinda sucks when a band becomes a company, haha.

Imagine 2005 blink album if shit hadn't gone down.

  21. Yeah! Thinking a lot of those songs ended up on the first AVA and +44 records.

Do it For Me Now as a Blink song would've been amazing.

Well, they'd def take on different forms. Would have been good.

  24. but without them all working on them together to make them good/better.

Neighborhoods showed us that the band's songs needed to be all 3 of the band members and not just 1 or 2 of them.

Any blink fan that says they wouldn't want a fully committed Tom at his peak back again would be lying.
