Haven't watched the trailer, won't watch it because I like to go in as cold as possible but man I am excited for this.

Emma Stone is like a real life manic pixie dream girl. Jennifer Lawrence seems like just a real and cool person. Don't know how anyone can call her fake. You can be annoyed by her, I bet she could be exhausting to hang out with, but fake, she is not.

 

Don't talk about my future wife that way.

 

Caught a trailer for this when I saw Ingrid Goes West last night. Looks awesome, can't wait to check it out. Idk anything about Jennifer Lawrence being "fake" or whatever but I've thoroughly enjoyed her in everything I've seen her in, as well as Bardem

 

How was Ingrid Goes West? It looks interesting.

 

Not bad, lots of laughs for sure but definitely kinda fizzles out in the last act. The ending in particular is really, really bad. Still worth the watch though, especially if you're a Plaza fan

 

It's weird, I'm generally not an Aronofsky fan and find him pretty overrated, but I always end up seeing his films anyway. I'm sure I'll see this one too.

 

He also said FUCK BABY DRIVER so his opinion doesn't matter

Reaction from Venice ranges from masterpiece to a complete mess and apparently people both booed and cheered at the end, even more stoked now

It's intriguing for the first half, but man, he just hammers away at the metaphor about how artists are self-absorbed, fame-seeking assholes until you're numb.
