50% of the fanbase did a complete 180. I don't know how you can deny songs like Disloyal Order, What a Catch, 20 Dollar Nose Bleed, Headfirst Slide, etc. But to each their own obviously.

I already said there were some good songs on it. But there is some heinous trash on there too and the sequencing is so bad.

It takes effort to listen to the album. I've given it a chance every few years. It's still a slog to get through, especially the last few songs.

I could see arguments against w.a.m.s. and Tiffany Blews (even though I like 'em both). The rest I really don't see why a typical Fall Out Boy fan would not like them.

 

I like more of the front half, for sure. The back half has so much garbage. The last 3 songs are so bad.

 

Wait, it's the last 4 I really don't like. I can't possibly say it's a good album when the final 4 tracks are bad. Like, there's no way.

 

Well that's fair for you, but I think West Coast Smoker is their hands down best closer, rivaled only by Save Rock & Roll, and 20 Dollar Nose Bleed is a fantastic song, so that's where we do not see eye to eye on this haha

 

The last 4 are some of their best ever songs

 

The fanbase loves 'Folie' now. It's definitely the most mentioned album in this forum as the best. By far I'd wager.

 

Also it's an incredible album.

 

I'm clearly not their fanbase anymore. Like I said above, I never bothered with their last album. And the one song I've heard recently was BAD.

 

Nah. It's very hit or miss. Big hits and big misses.

 

Well now I just want to revisit the whole album. It's been a while.

 

My favorite is American Beauty/American Psycho I think??? Folie is very good though.
