Shout out to @contra11mundum who sold me this. Well packaged, shipped quick and is in great shape, in case you guys were thinking about picking up something off that list.

I love Kevin, but this release is a shit show.

Misspellings. Heavily pixilated artwork. The sound is IFFY at best.

Enjoy the Ride records has its ups and downs for sure. All the Nickelodeon stuff they put out is ... questionable.

It's a record store show and sounds like it... Is what it is. I have a majority of Kevin's release and it was bumming me out that I didn't have this one. I'll take it, shortcomings and all.

I really want the Hussey vinyl they have, questioning it now.

The guy who runs it just does shady weird stuff. Some releases are fine, others are just a complete shit show.

I just don't support based on their business ethics. Look up the ETR thread on Vinyl Collective sometime, it's like 90 pages of shady and unprofessional behavior.

I know there was some real beef a couple years ago when they released "Chroma" on vinyl. The band had planned a release through a different label, but somehow ETR had the rights to it and released it before they could.

I had already received my copy before I heard about any of it though. Kind of a bummer, but I guess it attaches a story to the record. Sometimes those stories are the best part.

This record needs to be on full volume to be enjoyed properly.

I have a couple songs that I use to check out everything. I do a lot of listening on headphones so I use:
Atmosphere - "The Arrival" to check the cartridge alignment. It has a lot of cymbal sounds that jump from the left channel to the right channel and it helps me make sure there's no distortion in either channel.

Ingrid Michaelson - "The Chain" I also use this to help with alignment. The song is at the end of the 1st side so I can make sure the stylus is tracking properly closer to the label and that's also got A LOT of vocals switching through the channels. That song will throw A LOT of sibilance if my cartridge isn't tracking properly.

FInally I use Mendelssohn's 4th symphony. I know that thing inside & out and it has really crazy loud parts and super quiet parts, so that's a good overall test.

"Give Up" by The Postal Service or "Into the Blue Again" by the Album Leaf. I know the "dynamics" of those records well enough that I can pick up any weirdness or wobbles. They were also the records that got me into this whole hobby in the first place.
