I ended up winning in both my leagues. I went into Monday tied in one league and I had Diggs and he had Gordon and Sanders. I thought for sure I was going to lose but then Diggs had a monster performance and I won (Thankfully, I started Diggs over Allen in the flex, which was a last minute change...so lucky).

So who do you think the top waiver picks should be this week?

Cohen, Galladay, Buck Allen, Agholor, Marlon Mack, Kerwynn Williams

Ugh, is there anything worse than proposing a trade in a league and you just get no response - yes or no - within 24 hours?

My one league, I literally have no wide receivers. I went RB heavy in the early rounds (Gordon, Murray, Hunt, Montgomery) so the best WR I could draft was Allen Robinson and Cameron Meredith (before he got injured)...my other receivers are Jamison Crowder and Brandon marshall and Kevin White (out for year).

I'm trying to offer one of my running backs (preferably Murray) for a decent WR, but getting no responses.

so in my big money league with my friends, one guy lost both David Johnson and Woodhead. His roster below:

Here is my roster. I won and was the highest scoring team this week. Had ARob in week 1 and already dropped him.

He offered me Pryor for Dalvin Cook. I obviously am not going to do that, but I feel like there is a trade to be made here. I was thinking of offering up Jazquizz to him with one of my bench WRs for an upgrade at WR for me. At least that gives him a RB for a few weeks. What do you guys think? its 12 teams 0.5 PPR

I wish I had changed my user name... Prestigious

This happened to me with one of my best friends. He just texted me and was like "get that garbage out of here" and I was like "Don't you know how to counter offer?" Then silence. Okay great.

The post above was pretty spot on but I highly recommend reading the Waiver Wired column on Rotoworld when it drops later today

Yeah, the one trade proposal was me offering D. Murray for Brandin Cooks. The dude had David Johnson, so he should be as desperate for a RB as I am for a WR.

we've seen the shadow of the axe before Supporter

Thielen had a monster game last night. Hope he can keep that up throughout the season.

    Pick 1 for flex:

    Jacquizz Rodgers
    Robert Kelley
    Blount

I was going to stick with Kelley, but seeing they face the Rams this week with Aaron's Donald back, I'm not so sure. Probably going to roll with Rodgers at home against Chicago. Blount will more than likely score a TD, but I doubt he will get many yards.

I'm a David Johnson owner. Looking to trade. What do you think would be fair to offer to get an RB like Ty Montgomery or maybe even Gillislee?

RB/WR wise I have DJ, Zeke, CJ Anderson, Baldwin, Crabtree, Graham, Martavis, Pryor, McFadden, Garcon, Riddick, Thielen.

Team in my league I'm targeting has: McCoy, Hunt, TY Hilton, Dez, Hopkins, Ertz, Ty Montgomery, Gillislee, Duke Johnson, J. Matthews, Hunter.

Honestly, I'd stay away from any NE back. You never know with their offense. Guy could have a 2TD game, and then get like 2 carries the next game. It's been that way for years in New England.

That's my thinking too. I'm thinking offer someone like Terrelle Pryor for Ty Montgomery.

Is Kerwynn Williams worth wasting a top Waiver Wire on? Still a lot of RBs on Arizona's squad plus the O-line isn't great, but I'm considering it. My other RBs are Freeman, Miller, Rodgers, AP, McFadden (who I'd drop) and James White. So I don't really need a RB.

it depends who else is out there

I'd go for Buck Allen or Cohen before Kerwynn for sure

Yeah, I'm leaning against it. I'm not sold on any obvious 'waste your waiver wire' claim this week. Allen and Cohen played well Week 1, but are still 2nd in line on their respective teams for now. I'm only a 'waste your waiver wire' claim if you have a sure-fire starter (due to injury)

    Lets Go. Prestigious

I would 100% use the #1 claim on either of those 2 guys

with Woodhead out, Allen is going to be the pass catching back in BAL. West doesn't do that. And I feel like Cohen might not get that many targets every week, but IMO hes certainly worth it.

Once Doug MArtin comes back and Quizz fades out, your RB depth isn't very good.

    yeah good okay Prestigious

so can you not change the waiver wire settings to auction after the draft?

  19. ncarrab

    Prestigious Supporter

Don't get me wrong, they're nice additions, but if I'm top of the wavier wire, I want a guy who will be getting 25-30 carries with no other guys threatening to split time. Allen will still split with West and Cohen still splitting with Howard. Also, Allen was playing in a 20-0 ball game, which probably led to more snaps.

I don't have great RB depth, but don't need it because my receiving core is really good and takes up flex position (Nelson, K. Allen, Diggs, K. Benjamin).

That said, I am putting in a waiver claim for Cohen, haha.

nobody gets 25-30 carries/game anymore. Zeke only averaged like 21 last year, for reference.

The point was, not having to worry about guys splitting time nearly 50/50.

  22. theagentcoma

    yeah good okay Prestigious

I'm last in the waiver order and I put claims in on Cohen, Galladay, and Williams. I won't get any of them haha

I hear you, but those situations are REALLY rare in the NFL nowadays

got offered B. Cooks for D. Cook

I wish I had better RB depth because damn that is tempting

I'm biased because I'm a Florida State fan but I actually don't think that would be a very good trade. I'm also a New England fan and the way they run their offsense there is just no telling who is going to be hot that week. Dalvin Cook is obviously the number one back and got 16 points this week without scoring a touchdown. Cook has a bright future ahead of him in Minnesota. Personally, I would hold onto him over Cooks.
