Can't answer this cause I don't wanna bring the thread down. But it's important to distinguish between actual regrets and things you just wish you did. Like I don't don't regret not going to certain concerts even tho I wish I had. Regrets are life changing and I literally only have one

I went to a cafe today for three hours and literally did zero homework, though that's more of a "I wish I hadn't." I regret not opening up to a girl regarding my feelings towards her

 

My dude. I just moved to L.A. I've been partying every weekend. It's gr9.

Side note: every time I see Brand New I do feel hella sad after :/

 

Just watched ep 2, season 2 of leah remini's scientology show. Wow that was a rough one. So sad. That cult is so wrong on so many levels. I can't believe they are still allowed to exist. I wish there was more that could be done to take them down.

 

I had plenty of those before I opened up to the person who I'd end up marrying. Now they feel less like regrets, in hindsight of course, but I remember being devastated and angry with myself all of the time when I was in the dating game.

Now, I regret not planning for my science class at precisely 8:00 AM every morning...

And not getting a shirt at the ManOrch concert I went to on Tuesday.

 

I watched a fair amount of the first season of that, as well as Going Clear. My mind was blown away by how tight of a hold they have on their followers, past and present, and at how easily they get away with everything.

 

What do you do when you get sad? How do you make yourself feel better?

Season 2 has been even more intense so far. Its almost too much to take. So infuriating/frustrating. Maybe not the best late night stuff to watch. I should of went with The Sinner not that it would of been any lighter fare haha

 

How affordable would you say LA is as a student? I really wanted to go to school out west, but I committed to a girl here and have yet to leave my hometown/region. Looking back, I probably saved a lot of money, but I still see it as an opportunity that I passed up and wonder "what if" about at times.

 

I really want to start watching that too! I've got all these shows that my wife and I are halfway through lol. Main focus for now is finishing the final 4 episodes of Penny Dreadful.

 

Episode one of The Sinner was excellent can't believe i haven't gotten around to watch episode 2 yet. I definitely recommended it if you like psychological dramas. Totally in my wheelhouse.

Has anyone here seen The Handmaid's Tale season 1? Another one that hits hard but is totally worth it.

Well, I moved from the SF Bay Area, which is the most expensive place in the nation, so, it's definitely cheaper. I got a steal though. I found a good sized room for $600 plus utilities. But even an apartment isn't too bad. I also have a bunch of financial aid/grants so that helps. I originally was gonna go to school in Oregon because the PNW just feels like home but out of state tuition is just too much

 

Handmaids tale is really good.

 

Anyone here seen the start of the new season of AHS:Cult? I really fell off that show. Season 1 was good. I don't even remember watching all of season 2 and watched very little of the other seasons since. Crazy that they are already on season 7 now

 

I buckle in for every season never knowing if it'll be worth the time. The only season I really didn't enjoy at all was Freak Show though. Everything else has been decent (Coven, Hotel), good (Roanoke, Asylum), or great (Murder House). I like what they've set up this season, but set up has never really been this show's problem. The themes they seem to want to explore this season are promising, so it'll just depend on whether they stay focused or if they go down 1,000 rabbit holes like they have a tendency to do.
