Ostensibly and noir have been tough ones today huh?

 

And are you using whodunnit correctly?

Speaking of whodunnit and based on existing material have you seen the movie Clue with Tim Curry. Pretty fun romp.

Edit: i'm not sure if im using the word "romp" correctly, but you know what i mean.

 

I will have to check out Riverdale sometime. I'm officially intrigued enough now to want to watch it.

 

Yesterday I finally stopped reading every page of this thread. And now I feel like something's missing :(

 

Riverdale is really good if you ignore one small plot in the first few episodes.

 

You will only feel complete once you do. I have now and can confirm that haha

and also that Archie is the dullest person on earth but Veronica is still into him because society conditioned her to love bland men

Edit: I'm not sure if I'm using the word "shtick" correctly, but you know what I mean.

 

he had some good moments in the last 2 eps where I actually started to think, "oh hey archie-kins, you're not that boring"

but also I feel like that's part of the charm of the comics/show how everyone around Archie is more interesting than him, he's more of a kind of cypher

 

I'm definitely in the "wait and see" camp.
I think a lot of the smarter TV shows in the last few years have greatly benefited from smaller episode count.

Cole is obviously going to support more episodes because more episodes means more money for him.

There are certainly characters that could use more fleshing out. Extra episodes can help this. I'd love to see more Reggie and Moose. It took awhile for folks to see Archie as the hero because there was just so much else going on. We barely even saw Jughead eat a cheeseburger.

I'd say as long as it doesn't sacrifice quality for quantity we will be fine. A longer season could give new viewers a greater window of time to discover the show.

Yeah, I definitely want more Reggie too, it'll be interesting to see what the new Reggie is like after the re-cast, but I don't think re-casting is a huge deal because like you said he was barely used in S1

You're definitely right about the Cole thing in regards to $$$ too haha

I'm hoping they don't lean too hard on contrived plotlines just to like bring fodder for fans/tumblr

I feel like they rode that line pretty smoothly during S1, I just hope they don't let the success lead them to giving the fans exactly what they want, but like I said, we'll just have to wait and see, and I'm overall just very excited to have it back

 

He's a total airhead with a crippling attraction to the opposite sex, his teenage spaciness hurts his relationships with friends and family.

It's interesting to see how long it takes him to snap out of the teen angst and help his friends.

 

Riverdale was great but I have zero interest in the storylines involving Archie's music

Up until that point, i had been listening to TBS - Tell All Your Friends.

This was ~9 months before Deja Entendu came out & I was instantly hooked.

It was fate & it was awesome.

I don't listen to it anymore, but I still have respect for thaf release as it was the gateway to everything else.

 

That movie doesn't exist.
