Yeah. The tone is completely different than the comics, but I enjoyed it. If you like teen dramas, this is the best one in years.

 

If you like teenage dramas it's awesome and the best one I know running atm

 

Never saw the live action version of Airbender. I remember being super hyped when I first saw that teaser trailer, and then everything after that looked like garbage.

I haven't seen it, but I have a really hard time getting past the cinematography on CW shows. It hurts my eyes. But I hear good things

Watched 'The Big Sick' last night and now know there's nothing I can watch tonight that's new/haven't seen that'll live up to that.

 

imo one of the best things about Riverdale is how almost tongue in cheek they are with how much they lean into the "dark and gritty reboot" aspects of the show

it never feels like they're taking themselves too seriously

it starts off a bit rocky (pretty much smooth sailing after episode 4) and some eps from season 1 got a little too soapy midway through the season BUT the finale and buildup to it was pretty incredible

overall, super fun show

It's funny that I used to hate any TV dramas. I thought they were overly dramatic. I wanna go back in time to slap myself and say "duh! That's the point!"

 

@Kingjohn_654 Did you care at all when they killed off Archie in the comics or did you think it was dumb? cause I mean, obviously there wasn't really any weight to it.
