I hear ya. I'm glad I was around my PC when that news hit and was able to pick one up.

Too bad that not everyone that got that vinyl pre-order got a CD sent to their home.

I would have liked that too, but ultimately i'm not sure what i would have done with the CD. its basically junk. haha.

 

I'm not going to listen to SF again until I buy the CD.

At the risk of bringing the thread back on topic, curious how everyone interprets this part of “Could Never Be Heaven”?

There were people I love below me singing
And all of the songs were about you

Is the second line what the people were singing, i.e. singing to the narrator (ostensibly Jesse) that all of the songs he, himself, has been singing throughout Brand New’s career were about himself?

Or is he describing that the songs these people were singing were about the “you” to whom he refers to throughout the song.

 

Now that you bring it up, either of those make more sense than my interpretation, that the singing in the first line is irrespective of the songs in the second (I thought the "you" referred to someone other than Jesse). Given your choices though I'd say no.2 makes more sense, still not about jesse.
