How's everything in Houston now?

 

Still some closed roads where a bayou is still flooded.

everything is getting back to normal for everyone whose house didn't flood. Unfortunately so many people lost everything and are having to start over. In my office if 17 people. 2 lost everything.

Where I live (close to the Brazos river) the river level rose 56 feet above normal level Flloding whole neighborhoods. Some of which were just finished repairs from when they flooded Memorial Day. It's going to take a long time to completely rebuild everything and I know people who just aren't coming back. Houston didn't even get hit the worst. Some of the smaller cities like rockport and beoumont got it twice as bad as us.

I just really hope Florida fares better than we did.

Glad you and your family weren't victims of the flood. It's been horrible watching all of that stuff. It didn't hit us as hard as I expected, but we still had some flash flooding and a couple of neighborhoods/business got affected by that.

We're gonna have to go through Beaumont and Houston next week when we go to College Station.

Hey man, could you go tonight around like 8 or 9 EST? What times are working for you today?

 

It's about 5 hours for Lafayette.

I got a quality control gig/graduate assistantship with the football program at UL Lafayette. We're playing at A&M next Saturday.

 

I work until 6 est today (but could leave a little early if I get what I'm doing done). I could probably get out of here about 4:30 est. But I'm going to visit my girlfriend this weekend. I could do a little later tonight or a little earlier but 8-9 is right when I'll be driving.

Or I can go Saturday or Sunday morning?

I guess that's acceptable. I have never been to a game at Kyle field before.
