that's basically how i took it. If you sum up Kinsella's in one word that isn't emo it's consistent

 

any of the Kinsellas, I'd say

I do think Tim is a little underrated because he gets weird sometimes

 

Joan of Arc is immense

The Gap is one of my fav albums ever

 

Joan of Arc is still my Kinsella blind spot because they have so much music. I think I am maybe two albums deep into their discog. Owls though

 

Jimmy Eat World and American Football releasing an album on the same day during my absolute favorite time of year is a dream come true

 

I've only listened to Clarity and "The Middle" but I'm excited for you Jimmy people bc both are great

 

finally got to see this guys last night, never thought that would happen.
it was a fun show, although they were definitely a little rusty on some parts. we got a set of new songs, a brief break, and then a set of old songs. the crowd was definitely anxious to hear their big old songs, though.
couldnt hear much of mike's banter between songs because the crowd would chatter so much, but at one point he said "I think we know 3 more songs, so we'll just play those," haha.

 

This is gonna happen when the inevitable School of Rock remake comes out
