You guys are really going to eliminate the best Brand New song in the first round? Jesus (pun intended).

 

lets go degausser people, you wont know is probably the second best song on the record but come on deguasser is so special. its everything I love about music

I can agree to this. its a really important record to me and probably plays a huge part to defining my music taste. I love the space and mood it puts me in, still transforms me to another place every time I listen.

 

Yes. 100%. I listened to it in full on my way to work today and it's still as good now as it was nearly 11 years ago when I first heard it. It's their masterpiece, although in time Science Fiction could claim that title.

The Jesus vs. Millstone and the You Won't Know vs. Degausser matchups were very difficult for me. I listened to each of those songs multiple times before getting my vote in.

The Luca, Limousine, and Sowing Season matchups were all really easy for me.

I was hoping Untitled would go up against one of my less favorite songs on the album so I could toss a vote its way, but it just wasn't meant to be.

 

You know what? I take it back. Handcuffs is unbelievable, an unbelievably weak closer on a strong album. It is unbelievable they close on such a sour poor note.

 

Possibly...not sure it would've beaten Limousine though.

I guess...we won't know
