I have never seen this..that seems really stupid.

 

I want to hate Calvin Harris songs, but I tend to love his collabs. The one with Haim is so solid. And I just love any Ellie song.

 

I considered that it might be offensive to some, though I don't think the intention was to make fun of anyone. I see what you're saying though and feel bad that someone was uncomfortable.

I don't really think making immature jokes (outside any offensive content) is inherently a negative thing though

 

They do it at pretty much every Chik-Fil-A here

 

Calvin Harris is an alright guy by me.

 

The lyric (and also the entirety of the 16 second song) is:

"I want to see some naked dudes. That's why I built this pool."

I think it sucks that a member of the gay community was made to feel awkward because of it, but I personally don't think that this is a particularly offensive lyric.

 

I also think it sucks that I came back from my general-chat-on-these-forums hiatus to comment on stupid joke songs. Really gives depth to my character.

 

Me neither alone from that clip, but if someone of a marginalized group is uncomfortable and stating so I'm not gonna be like, "hey why you uncomfortable! Let me tell you why you shouldn't be!"

Exactly. It's not my place to tell someone when they should or shouldn't be offended. I'll totally hear them out on why they find it offensive though. If the reasoning is solid, it could change my opinion.

 

I feel like that side of AP always existed. (For at least as long as I had been lurking which was >7 years)

 

The blink thread is so fanboyish. Those guys have been talking non-stop for weeks about basically nothing

I think this may be hands down my least favorite feeling in the world

 

I take more issue with the "let's make a list of favorite songs to pass time" like blink fans have to constantly be talking about them
