Hey guys I'm gonna get this up and running within the next couple days now that the LP one is done (spoiler: Faint won it all). Shall we move back through the discog as has been tradition? Any other considerations?

Short Songs would come before Rescue.

 

I didn't anticipate 18 candles. As for SS, do we do every song or just the originals? My gut says originals only.

 

I've never participated in the bracket threads so what's first in the protocol?

 

Separate category for the cover songs? SS, the bonus tracks, and individual 7 inches

 

basically we go album by album and vote on randomly-generated song matchups in a bracket-style tourney. definitely hit all the LP's, as for b-sides we can decide if they're added onto their respective album's bracket (as was done for LP) or we compile them all into one. can also make some of these decisions as we go. fortunately we don't have any extraneous stuff for DR.

THIS IS HOW YOUR PERCEPTION OF OTHER USERS SHIFTS: THE SILVERSTEIN BRACKET CHALLENGE

For the uninitiated, these are randomly generated brackets (no seeding!) to determine a winner for each album, which will then face off in a Champions bracket to decide the best overall Silverstein song! Same rules as the other brackets:

Rules:
1. Voting will take place over 10-24 hour period, depending on how close the matches are (if there's a wide margin too far to beat the round may be run ruled to not waste time).
2. You must vote on every match in a round. If you don't your other votes don't count. Jut reply to this thread with your choices. I will not vote unless there is a tie needed to be broken.
3. Feel free to discuss why you chose one song over the other and why you like that song. It's what helps keeps these fun!
4. I avoid byes into rounds if I can, but sometimes it's necessary. These are randomly generated; I do not pick them.
5. Once your votes are counted, signified by me 'liking' your post, there are no vote changes. Choose wisely before posting!

A word from the wise: People change in the brackets. Oh find the best song if you can. But be very wary, you might just lose yourself along the way.
