Can't Get It Out is getting airplay at my local radio station here in Rochester, NY

I could see "Waste" doing really well on the radio

may be a dumb question but if a song like CGIO is already getting radio play, what does it mean for them to select a single?

they've probably already pushed that song to radio, for something to be getting play on a station like Alt Nation it usually means it was pushed to them

Me when I'm listening to TDAG: "This is definitely their best record"

Me when I'm listening to SF: "This is definitely their best record"

I think I'm confident in saying that SF is not their best record.

Why did they stop making music videos anyway? I know Mene had a video but that was throwaway live footage compilation. Just a shame cos it could add a lot more depth to a song.

there's no budget for videos outside of majors/big indies and even then the budgets are a fraction of what they used to be. if you don't have to make a video, why waste the money for less than 100k views on YouTube. A million YouTube views comes out to like, 20 bucks

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

It'll take a lot of time before I'd consider even saying that SF is better than TDAG, and that may not ever happen.

I can't believe there was a time fairly recently that I thought that Deja was their best record.

  19. When I hear it, I still think it's my favorite. It takes me to a very specific time and place in my life like very few others can/do.

TDAG definitely resonates with me on a more emotional and personal level and for that reason I do not feel it can be usurped

Can't Get It Out is an easy single choice. I think close follow-ups/ones I'd pick would be In The Water or Out of Mana. Of course every station and tv Broadcast would probably cut the secret ending on Mana though and piss me right off.

Hence the rise of lyric videos.

I'd love for them to do a low budget video like TBS' "Death Wolf"

Yeah, no doubt there's an intense nostalgia about the record. I still tell people a lot of time after listening to it recently that it's my favorite. With that being said, the nostalgia is the only thing that would make me think it's their best.

The songwriting is better on Deja tbh
