Maybe blakebeats was really just Jason's alter ego and he got tired of keeping up the charade and arguing with himself so he "banned" blakebeats.

Sorry, now that we actually have an LP5 from Brand New, I need to get my conspiracy theorizing in somewhere.

Wow, definitely the end of an era here on the forum. I always enjoyed coming into this thread and reading his bizarre posts, it has always been the highlight of my day. Farewell Blake. Hope your accounting profession goes well for you. I believe everything you've ever said.

You guys should get a Chorus compliation going: Chorus Covers the Soundtrack of blakebeats. You can do a cover of the Fray, Foo Fighters (but only if you work in that the song you are covering is better than Nirvana), Your Favorite Weapon, or any Tom Delonge blink-182 song.

I'd definitely listen.

I was thinking we could write original songs, but all the lyrics are lifted directly from his posts.

 

I like when I make a joke on here and feel like nobody likes it, so I go to bed, but then I wake up with so many notifications that it keeps me posting. I thrive on attention and validation.

 

I'm sad I missed the grand BB exit.

I wish it was something so simple as "not doing anything illegal" that would stop the government from ruining people's lives.

So No Control is maybe still my least favorite but it's grown on me immensely and I keep falling in love with the Kurt Cobain esque harmonies when he says the word "cured" specifically, spot on

In the Water is maybe in the running for favorite on the album though it's currently still Same Logic

Everytime I listen to Batter Up it becomes more and more surreal to me that it could be the last new song from this band I'll ever hear

back on topic:

Android vs Iphone.

android usually gets a bad rep due to the nature of it being on so many different phones by so many makers with their own software on top of it. iPhone is only on phones made by apple so there's extra stability there.

but the top of the line android phones (pixel, samsung, LG) are pretty good phones, pixel gets updated directly from google so it's probably the most secure android phone you could get, the others get updated from the carriers so there is usually a pretty long delay to get the newest OS and security patches.

I have the galaxy 8+ after going from the LG g3 for 2.5 years.

Battery lasts all day even on high performance mode and I use my phone alot throughout the day. usually plug it in the charger for 20 minutes around 8pm and it's good until bed time.

Camera is really nice takes good fast pictures even with low light.
software is fast, switching apps is fast. internet is very fast on tmobile except inside my house but I have fast wifi.
screen is huge and with no bezel due to having the buttons on the screen instead of a physical button (this is probably my biggest complaint about iphone, they still have a huge physical button which causes them to have huge bezels.)

has a regular headphone jack. USB C is nice. and has fast charging.

I don't really have any complaints about my s8+. the only thing I don't really like is the curved screen on the edges. I could do without that, it's not an issue it's just not really that useful for me anyway.

I'm curious if jason banned blakes new account "freedom" because then technically he banned freedom, just like a dictator would.

 

Hope they play it on tour plenty so we can tell. Or maybe the vinyl comes with a lyrics sheet which would be sick. Also a favorite moment
