Yes, but Adam actually is a huge dick that does things like hits fans in the face with microphones drunk performing. Essentially any reason he's given about disliking Jesse/Brand New is never direct or has any foundation. It's just like random unprovoked snippets of nonsense.

Adam is actually really nice. Just saying.

 

I don't think he really needs to give a reason for not liking people. I ran into John and Adam after a show and they were as nice as could be, and I'm sure meeting Jesse Lacey would be pleasant. I'm also pretty sure they can both dicks from time to time too. I mean, lets not pretend like Jesse Lacey hasn't been accused of some dick'ish things.

Point is, we have no idea his interactions with Jesse and we don't really need to know. He holds an opinion of him and holding that opinion doesn't make him a bad guy.

 

Boy: Love Guernica but Boy resonates with me more, and that bridge will always be classic to me

Quiet Things: Wanted to give Good To Know a vote, but Quiet Things was like the OG Brand New song for me. Watched the 240p music video on youtube when i was younger all the time

Every time Adam says anything about Jesse it is absolutely provoked. Interviewers bring it up all the time. He doesn't bring it up. It's not random from him. He shows up to talk about new music and they ask him about something that happened over a decade ago.

I'm a little surprised to see Guernica doing so well over Boy. I had thought that would be a runaway match for Boy.

 

I'm surprised to see the singles doing so well. They're good songs, but I never let them play through unless I'm listening to the record. They ended up being way over played for me. I thought the deeper cuts would easily beat them out.

All of them minus Tommy Gun are ones I have watched on multiple occasions since 2003/4 So dang good.

 

Backed. Every singer has their bad days and they're allowed to have their opinions. I've never met Jesse but he seems like a decent guy. The couple of times I've met Adam he was super polite and talkative.

Not to beat the dead horse much, I don't hate Adam Lazzara I just like Brand New more.

 

I know this is the brand new thread so I'll keep it short but Adam gets way too much shit and is an undervalued member of TBS. has many great vocal and lyrical moments.

 

I just think the quality of his voice live is so hit or miss. Sometimes he sounds decent other times it's really rough.

Though I can say that about Jesse as well though in recent years. I guess it happens.

 

It could be worse. The last time I saw Adam live he was really good.

He could be Tom Delonge quality. Or I ask once saw Buddy from Senses Fail perform drunk and THAT was terrible.

 

Last time I saw TBS (about 3 weeks ago) was probably the worst that I've seen Adam perform. Only singing MAYBE a quarter of the words...I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, I realize that everyone has off nights.
