I regret not going in on Yeezus tour tickets; I think Kanye is the only huge artist I'd be willing to pay for, as amazing as I'm sure Beyoncé would be.

 

This seems like as good a place as any to say hi to everyone. I'm Fourchordwonder over at AP.net, but I figured I'd stick with the username I use everywhere else here. Visually and functionally, this forum looks awesome (I love the trophies I got for liking TV shows and bands), and I'm excited to dive in.

It's a database issue that I've asked to fix and they never have. I'm pretty sure I know exactly what query is doing it.

Old fashioneds are gross anyway, because cherries are gross.

 

easy: milk is delicious. cherries are not.

 

I don't like actual cherries but I like cherry flavoring. I like chocolate milk and milk when it's in cereal or milkshakes but I can't drink just plain milk

 

A real old fashioned should have no cherries.

I took a photo of the building going up across the street roughly once a week for a year. Also I wanted to test facebook embeds.

 

so an old fashioned is just whiskey, sugar, and bitters? and then a manhattan is just whiskey, vermouth, and bitters? my impression was always an old fashioned is much more citrusy, I always see them with orange peel and cherries. (although, manhattans are also typically garnished with cherries. as a cherry hater, I just can't win.)

pretty awesome, there's a ton of construction going on in the neighborhood of Boston where I work. the view from my office used to just be parking lots, and now there's like 10+ new buildings that are going up. it's crazy.

This fluid browser app is pretty cool. Basically lets you put a floating window anywhere on the screen, currently I'm using it as a great little Plex player.

 

That looks awesome. I would have used it a ton in school.

 

Just bought it and I'm getting a playback error on Netflix at the moment.

What is happening going on with autos/AI is getting to the point of craziness:

One of these days the guy with the stick ... is in trouble.

 

The thing that impresses me the most about this is that it's electronically powered it and they are running untethered. Also the walking motion is awesome.

Also yeah that guy may want to start wearing something more than just safety glasses in the future...

Yeah I know the feeling. I wonder if it's because it looks human so our brain automatically feels sympathy for it.
