I think he'll still appear in Avengers 4. There is no way the creator of the Avengers will not be present for their last film. That interview also took place before he was confirmed for Captain Marvel, which was before Avengers 4 began filming.

Don't tease me. There's little I want more from the MCU than for Wanda and Vision to be truly in love. Like, if they don't kiss in one of these films, then love is dead.

 

I have a feeling they will, but I also have a feeling it's going to be a set up for the audience to get the feels whenever Vision is taken out.

 

I'm still skeptical that Vision will or should die in this. He gets power from the Mind Stone, not his actual mind (which is Jarvis). I'm sure he'll get wrecked as Thanos gets the Stones, but it'd be easy to have Tony power him up with that fancy technology of his from the first Avengers film. And, Vision's definitely a character who deserves some more film appearances.

 

Yes, he was one of the best parts of Civil War and would be down for seeing him in anything.

Anyone who expected Marvel to kill any big heroes before Infinity War is moronic.

 

The Ancient One (who I think should have lasted one or two more films) and Yondu.

 

Coulson died too. However, it got him a first season pick-up, so it was really more of a win.

We also lost Peggy Carter and Frigga, so you may see a Frigga series soon.

 

I bet you all $10 that the yakuza is appearing in Avengers 4.

I still have no idea why they would be in Avengers 4

 

Some fans are speculating that Sanada could be playing Namor. If that is true then we could have another character that's warming up for the Illuminati.

 

Namor would be cool to have just because he's a great character. Would love to see him and Stark just trying to out one-liner each other.

Would love it if Marvel gets F4 and X-Men back but I'm not holding my breath as far as those characters appearing in the MCU anytime soon. I guess Stan Lee is trying to negotiate with Fox to get them back.

Also idk who owns the rights to Blade but I want Blade in the MCU because he and Ghost Rider are two of my all time favorites

 

Marvel has the rights back for Blade. There is no word on when he might get a show, but my guess is that it will be after the more supernatural side of Marvel is explored.

 

They've had those rights back for over six years. I'm sure it'll come to life one day, but this hasn't been an emergency scenario to get him back on the screen, whether that's TV or cinematic. (TV seems to be the better bet.)

 

They should just make a Spirits of Vengeance series with Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider from Agents of SHIELD, Johnny Blaze (who was hinted at but never fully shown on SHIELD), Wesley Snipes as Blade, and a bunch of other similar characters. Maybe even introduce Man-Thing with some neat old school practical effects that walk the line between corny and horrifying.

As for Namor, I'd be pumped to see him show up in the films, especially if they use the character as a way to bring Asian representation into the films. The excitement around Jason Momoa as Aquaman would certainly help motivate Marvel to give their own Atlantis some attention. If they do, I hope they get into the tension that Jonathan Hickman wrote between Namor and T'Challa in his New Avengers series. A showdown between Wakanda and Atlantis would be sweet, as would the political intrigue if T'Challa and Namor are forced to collaborate while their nations are at war.

At this point, I'd rather X-Men stay separate from the MCU, as long as someone far more competent than Kinsberg starts driving the main film series. A Sony-like deal where someone like Wolverine could show up in Avengers while Fox still develops non-MCU films could be fun, but otherwise, I'd rather see a producer with a strong sense of vision take advantage of all the resources the mutant franchise has to offer. Give me a Storm solo film, a Gambit film, Uncanny X-Force, X-Statix, Dazzler, Exiles, All-New Wolverine, a New X-Men/Generation X-style Xavier Institute coming-of-age film, even Alpha Flight if that's an option.

Fantastic Four, however, would be sweet to see in the MCU. Have Taika Waititi direct and James Gunn produce and maybe co-write, and lean into the Hickman Future Foundation stuff. Make it a mix between Superman, Star Trek, Iron Man, and GOTG.

 

I agree with X-Men. There are far too many stories and characters and the MCU is already pretty crowded. With Fox we can at least have stories beyond the core X-Men group.

 

I'd love a Howling Commandos show with Blade, Ghost Rider, cloned Dum Dum, Man-Thing, etc.

 

It Appears As If Brie Larson's CAPTAIN MARVEL Has Been Confirmed For AVENGERS 4

 

The same day that Inhumans airs on ABC.

 

It's probably premiering during Inhumans or someone will be on Jimmy Kimmel Live... as always. haha

 

Before I get hyped, is this confirmed?
