Our first dance was to the Daytrotter version of “Oh, It Is Love” by Hellogoodbye.

Our recessional was "Inní mér syngur vitleysingur" by Sigur Ros.

 

i tried so hard to get a Sigur song in mine but my wife does not get that band. its something im still working on daily hahah. Sigur is an all time favorite for me.

I feel like people don't talk often enough about how overt the Morrissey influence is on Jesse's vocals at times.

 

Our recessional was Blue & Yellow by The Used (married in 2005). When we started dating in '02 she said that song reminded her of me because of the line "By the way your hands were shaking
Rather waste some time with you".
I have a neurological disorder that causes my hands to constantly shake, so I wasn't sure if I should be offended or not haha.

 

That's pretty cool - that track definitely has the feels! That was mine & my exes song too.. Admittedly we broke up about 6 years ago now though.

I want to have another wedding and play Science Fiction in its entirety for my first dance.

 

What can I say? My wife and kids are currently n another state, so all I do down here is work and troll this thread.

Where's blakemeats? I admire that guy's fortitude.

 

I did play the Flame Deluge on trick-r-treat night a few years ago, to keep them away from the house, on repeat, and it worked.

 

Btw, i've been wondering, is that Blake the same Blake that used to review for AP.net? I don't think so but he seems relatively well known around these parts and didn't know if that was why.
