I would def put it over Deadpool too. I loved Baby Driver but I don't feel like I ever need to watch it again, this flick by it's very nature had more of a built-in lore to it and the characters were less cookie cutter than say Hamm in Baby.

Plus, it benefits from the Michael Caine curve. If a movie doesn't have Michael Caine, does it really even count?

 

I drank too much on accident so what up everyone except @ChaseTx

 

Austin Powers In Goldmember and Muppet Christmas Carol are the only movies

 

Watch it, man. You're shitting on one of my favorite movies of the year. But yeah, I guess I can see why you'd enjoy K:TSS way more. Also, what I loved about the casting of Michael Caine is that he makes so much sense as the head of a spy agency

 

I loved Baby Driver a ton, don't get me wrong. Need to make that clear

It was one of the rowdiest experience at the theater for me. They'd laugh at every joke (the "Catholic Whore one" they cracked up like FIVE different ways), they'd cheer at the drink switching, go "awwww" at the sight of all the dogs, and (unfortunately) started hollering in joy over that damn princess scene at the end. If it didn't make for such an exciting atmosphere to an already awesome movie, I'd be really fucking annoyed haha

 

I'm willing to admit most of Wright's shit is better, mind you

Baby Driver was fun. But I also have no desire to ever watch it again.

 

I love Edgar Wright. The World's End being my favorite of his and one of my favorite comedies. Thought Baby Driver was really bad.

I would absolutely watch Baby Driver again. Top 3(-ish) movie of '17

 

Technically well made, and great editing obviously, but it was one of two movies this year that I was consciously bored during. The other being Dunkirk.
