I wasn't hooked until maybe about halfway through Episode 2, and the story just keeps getting better from there, so you should probably keep playing if you haven't gotten that far. I think the clunkiness has to do with the Telltale-style genre--it's actually much smoother than any Telltale game, I'd say.

I've honestly never gotten the hype for the basement part. I'm an absolutely wuss when it comes to anything remotely horror but I've never found that part scary at any of my playthroughs. I usually manage to get right from the machine to the door without even really running into any enemies.

I just got a free PS4 Pro from my mom's friend who got it via some kind of rewards program. Holy shit, haha. Might have to wait a few weeks until it arrives though, but I'm looking forward to playing Yakuza 0.

 

I think I got partway through episode 3. So I do feel like I've played enough where it should have clicked by now, and also like I don't even have that much to play. And yeah the clunkiness is definitely part of the genre, but if the story doesn't hold me down then there's really no reason to play the game imo

 

Are those sales on PSN I keep reading about for Plus members only?

 

Do we know what the Ps+ games of Sept are yet?

Playing Life Is Strange for the first time as well. Finished episode 1 last night, gonna play some Bloodborne in between episodes though.

 

haha no worries. and actually I was expecting worse after I turned the machine on, that was easy. it was when I first went to the locked door and then I could just hear the stalkers and kind of see them through the haze. I knew they were out there and was just like fuuuuccckk haha

Could they please just fix the AI and slow response when playing D? Two things that have been nagging issues for years: Missing wide open layups and mother fuckers just running right around you. Haven't had fun with NBA2k for about 4 years.

yup. one of the characters has a twnpks license plate and there is another easter egg where it says FIRE WALK WITH ME on a mirror. I don't want to go into the spoilery ones but it's great.

 

Can someone explain to me the fact that the SNES Classic doesn't come out till sept 29th but bestbuy said they're out of stock

Does no pre orders left = no systems available on the 29th??

 

The ending of episode 2 nearly had me in tears but I did the right thing and I'm so happy now.

 

You'll have an opportunity day of. Probably a better chance than with the NES, but that's a pretty low bar. May camp out myself, never "camped out" for anything in my life but ironically the existence of the Switch makes it a more exciting prospect.

LIS is weird, i love it very much but more as the sum of its parts than those individual parts. like, i feel warmer about it when i reflect on it as a whole than trying to find individual moments of it that i loved.
