On Blinks FB they said there will be bundles that will be announced tomorrow.

 

Great job with this Jason! Waking up and checking Chorus.fm (Norway, it's 08.30 AM right now), and seeing the new song released was awesome. The 20 min drive to work, blasting a new blink song on repeat, was even better! I was smiling like a maniac for the entire drive.
Has anyone commented on the outro though? Man, I've missed Travis' drumming.

 

Man, I feel the same! Love the song so much. Hope the rest of the album will be as good, as this song.
By the way, I don't why YouTube has blocked the KROQ interview.

 

I really wish it just said "too short to last". The "long" seems unnecessary and kind of bugs me

Hahaha. All jokes aside, I really like the song. It's everything I was hoping for and now has me very excited for the new album.

 

Hopefully UK dates will be November/December 2016!

Today was a horrible day to be busy.

 

This blink smile is so good!

 

Listened to the song a ton today. While I am excited for the direction that it shows them going, and I like the song for the most part as it seems to show a rejuvenated group, parts of it left me wanting though I can't exactly put my finger on it. It just doesn't have the same immediate pull to me that the strong singles from Enema, TOYPAJ, and self-titled had. Don't misunderstand me, I'm stoked on new material and what Matt brings to the band (I loved the live shows with him last year leading up to and at Musink), just tempering my expectations until I get to hear it in the perspective of the full album (maybe I'm still just too jaded from the past 14 years of band bickering, high expectations and let downs).

On another note, glad to see so many people revisiting the back catalogue! I listen to self-titled at least once every couple of months. That album is one of those albums that helped push boundaries for me of what a "pop-punk" band can do when they take a risk and try something new. And I always have to listen to TOYPAJ and Enema when I feel like getting a little rowdy and feeling like I'm in high school again. I mean, seriously, Online Songs, Anthem Pt 2, Man Overboard, etc, etc, etc just hit me in the right place every time.

 

Probably already been spoken about but I've been asleep, Brohemian Rhapsody is the worst song title ever.

 

I actually like the way their voices sound together, but I can now understand how some people who heard it before weren't sure if it was entirely Mark or not. The way this is mixed or something, they can easily sound similar to someone whose not familiar with either or.

Not sure what the differences will be, but grabbed the Amazon vinyl pre-order so I can focus on tour pre-sale when it goes live. If the Blink site has a cool variant or package I can come back for, great. If not, I am at least assured of the Amazon pressing.

 

I really like the song. I think the oh oh ohs are the only mis step. They feel put of place.

 

Really love the song. It feels like Blink again, properly. It's catchy, stuck in my head instantly. It's so nice to have proper big production also. Feels exciting and the band has a direction again. Love Mark singing up a bit more. I have set myself a 2,500 plays limit. On about 30 now.. :)

 

It's a cool song, can't wait for the album.

 

I have only just read this!! I thought it all Mark! Glad I am not the only one!

 

My 18 yr old daughter is psyched that Mansfield date works for her (ATL fan, NOT a ADTR fan), and my 16 yr old is fine that she's in camp that week (NOT ADTR fan, but what SHE calls emo (whatever that means nowadays).

Me? Count me in. Lets hope tickets go on sale on pay day.

 

Do we know what label Blink are on yet? I know Jason said last night that some "label guys" had got onto him when he posted about the single, but I was under the impression they were still unsigned?
