I know we can't live every year and I really hope that it isn't decades before I see another cup win. That said - the sweep of us was a goddamn joke and we have a lot of work to do.

That said. To keep this conversation Brand New related. I got to see three Blackhawks Stanley Cup wins and a Cubs World Series between Daisy and Science Fiction. If you told me that as a kid I would laugh in your face. So I'm happy for now.

 

Nice dude glad to hear you enjoyed it. I recommend all their stuff tbh. Although be warned it's much different than the first album. More laid back but just as good imo.

Petal is awesome! I was actually lucky enough to see them and meet Kiley at Bled Fest this year. Easily the best set of the day.

Haha I'm excited. I've been dancing around getting really invested in NHL so why not now!? It feels good to have made the decision. It's like life has a little more color this morning than it ever did before!

Now... where do I find a siiick old school Oilers shirt similar to the one you rock in some of those Maylong videos!?

Haha dude I have no idea, I found that shirt at an antique mall by my apartment and have never seen one like it! It's my favorite shirt though haha

 

Haha I'll have to search around. I love 80's and 90's era sports merch. Whenever I see pictures of me as a kid rocking some Utah Jazz shirts it makes me sad cause the merch back then was so rad and that Oilers shirt is like the perfect example of it! So October 4th against the Flames is the first game of the season right? I'm here for it!

 

My guess is Q2 of 2018. She's still recording with Will as far as I know, but I'd imagine they are at least halfway through if not finished. We'll have the 7" in the meantime!

 

I'm fed up with Holland. Even more so after the news that AA might sign in the KHL.

Yea that seems about right. i saw her with kevin devine last year and was really blown away.

 

It's going to be a rough first season for the golden knights, but they will compete hard.

I would go in order. Curve of the earth is just as good as their first yet much different. Track with a kazoo on it is sweet i think its Sparrow also the title track is def a highlight on that one. I might play it today myself. Talking about it now makes me want to listen to it!

 

He clearly has no idea what he's doing in the post-cap era. The shit people say about him is cliche in nature (a stupid amount of loyalty, prefers washed up veterans, signs middle of the road players to awful contracts) but all that shit is true now. He makes me sick to my stomach.

 

I love it. Give me a team to hate and that's all I need!
