Funny part was people used to not know +44 was a thing and think it was Blink-182.

 

Song kinda has An Endless Summer vibe to it, especially during the whoa-oa's part. Wouldve been interesting to see what mark, Travis, and John could bring to those demos.. Lots of cool ideas in their. But i definitely could've seen a hybrid of the BTD and AES

 

Anyone have that comment that said something about Tom letting them use the name etc? Someone commented about it

 

I know, it's so annoying. Just because it's a Mark song, doesn't automatically mean it's a +44 song.

 

I like the song, sounds very full and energetic. I mean it's essentially just a blink song, but it makes me think that I'll enjoy the new album. I am pleased as a (moderately big) blink fan

 

I'm gonna put on that +44 album again for the first time in a while, then maybe work through the Blink discography as well. This track has got me in a massive Blink mood.

I listen to +44 at least once a year. Nostalgia aside, I'd have to say its better than all the blink albums except s/t

I'm probably going to dig more into Alk3

 

I already like BTD more than almost anything off Untitled.

 

Definitely. I don't think I really even realized how much all the Tom nonsense was bumming me out until today and seeing everyone happy and excited and I played this track like 40x and got to post all the news again ... haha, and it's been a lot of fun. Tom news stories don't ever make me feel that way. They kinda just ... are a bummer. I am happy that he seems happy but every time I read anything from him it makes me wanna smash my head against the wall because I can't believe no one calls him out on any of this.

 

Definitely do.

Crimson remains so underrated IMO. Fans rebelled against that album and I've always loved it.

 

This is exactly what my wife thought.

 

I was looking on YouTube earlier via my Xbox one to play the song through my sound system and there were so many covers and how to play videos up already

 

Sure it's been said a thousand times but this is very +44-ish.

Not a bad thing. This has been on repeat for me all night.

Can't wait to pre-order.

 

Blasphemy

 

I used to put the album on for people just to see what they'd say, virtually every time someone would ask when the new Blink came out. Heh. I think that album sounds more like classic Blink than it gets credit for ... and some of these melodies are so great. I'm at "155" right now, it's great. Excited to move back through the discography again ... been a while since I've heard stuff like "Online Songs" and "Don't Tell Me That It's Over" and some of my other random favorites.

 

Yeah, they signed with BMG who are probably using vagrant

 

Bold statement! Only Feeling This is edging this song out for me at the moment.

 

It's gonna be hard to displace anything from Untitled, but this song has already trumped every song from Neighborhoods/DED for me.

 

BMG bought Vagrant. They all basically work together and use the same systems.

Yup, that's the one song that's neck and neck with this for me right now. There are parts of songs on Untitled I love, but nothing that really sticks out for me as a whole looking back.

 

s/t is amazing.

 

I liked dog eat dogs but in retrospect it was kind I'd like I wanted to believe they were moving in a better direction so bad that I actually told myself to like the songs and kept them on repeat whereas this song is actually fresh and exciting and I KNOW they are moving in a better direction.
In a weird way, I think this album will actually exceed expectations and be a very important part of their legacy when all is set and done.
