There were a lot of awesome moments and beautiful cinematography in S2, but by the end I was starting to get annoyed by the pointless cliffhangers (whos behind the door? Whos behind THAT door? Which door is THIS?!) and feeling like the show was purposely stretching things out.

 

Was it a slight drop-off? I mean maybe. I agree that we spent too long in mental prison but going from best drama to no acknowledgment.....like wut?

 

Season 2 was as good as you could ask for. Great show.

 

S2 was so good that I was watching the season finale streaming live on my phone while going through security at JFK with one earbud in, while my wife occasionally prodded me along the line.

 

S2 was a massive disappointment for me with full episodes so drawn out, that they could have been cut to 10-15 minute scenes into a much bigger, better episode.

My girlfriend and I found ourselves being distracted in our phones this season due to the slow-pacing; this never happened for us in S1.

 

October?! So far away

 

Damn, that is far away. I think Season 1 and Season 2 were summertime releases.

 

I'm just glad they aren't waiting a whole extra year like seemingly every other great show is doing these days.

Also, all the talk of S2 being a let down is, just, so puzzling to me. But then again, I wasn't aggressively trying to figure out the twists or reading fan theory spoilers online throughout the season so everything that happened was genuinely surprising and the mysteries of the show remained mysteries that kept me engaged. Tip: if you really want to enjoy S3, don't read about the show online during the season.

 

I really enjoyed season 2 towards the end. Also I'm a complete dummy when it comes to twists so I NEVER see anything coming even though I watch a bajillion TV shows so I never feel the let downs like people who predict stuff.

 

I wonder if the delay (from summer to fall) has anything to do with Rami Malek playing Freddie Mercury - although I don't think they've even begun filming for that. So at some point, there may be a long break between Mr. Robot seasons.

 

Sigh, both Game of Thrones and Mr. Robot delayed by months.

 

Holy shit this looks bleak.

 

I can not wait

 

Very excited for this. And an added bonus, the premiere is on my birthday.

 

Fuck, I can't wait

 

That trailer was incredible, hype is through the roof right now.

 

Honestly, coming from a show like Mr. Robot, I wasn't expecting as solid a trailer as this. I just expect like 15 seconds of pure confusion and being pissed off about it xD.

Really good trailer, so excited.

 

JUST FINISHED SEASON 2

I'm hyped.

 

Yeah the Cohen lyrics really made the visuals look even more so.
