    It's a really great concept record. Their first truly great record in my opinion. Still my favorite to this day

    2006 also had The Black Parade and Sufferer & The Witness which are pretty astonishing records in their own right.

    The Ugly Organ is the best Cursive but everything that band has done is gold and if you like any of the bands mentioned then check out Cursive please.

    GAD were very ahead of their time and I'll go to bat for their last 3 records plus the EP any day. Volcano is the real masterpiece imo

    finally moving on to other music besides this album for real. the war on drugs album is un fucking real. didnt think id hear an album that would floor me as much as science fiction did so soon but alas.

    looking back at all of the bands I like 2006 now. 2006 Warped Tour was easily my favorite.

    Early november triple album 2006 also.

    Two of my favorite albums ever!

    2006 also had We Don't Kneed to Whisper and The Mother, The Mehcanic and The Path by The Early November.

    And outside of the scene, Hell Hath No Fury by Clipse (one of the best rap albums of all time).

    Edit: The Rising Tied too.

    2006 was one of the best years in music.
