  1. I'd say delete Cali but I can't because of Skiba. I can't do my boy an Injustice

I'd absolutely get rid of Cali. Neighborhood may have some duds but I still come back to it for Ghost, After Midnight, Up All Night, Natives, Even If She Falls and Kaleidoscope.

I'd kill Neighborhoods even though it has some tracks on it I love, I vastly prefer Californi

Yeah I'd probably take California over Neighborhoods too. I just like more songs on California than on Neighborhoods and have an easier time listening from front to back to that.

I'll take a standard blink album with members who are all on mission and enjoying it vs a broken cluster of an album made by people who can't bother to be in the same room to record.

That sounds like a bad call to me, but different strokes for different blokes

I think that's fair. They haven't been the same band since the reunion with or without Tom.

Yup, it's sad that the band never had a real follow up to the Untitled album. They really hit their peak and then all the dysfunction ruined it all.

And you're right it hasn't been the same band since they first broke up, just too much baggage between the 3 of them to be able to co-exist for long stretches at a time. While I am enjoying blink 3.0 with Skiba, it's still not the same as seeing Mark, Tom and Travis in their prime circa 2000 to 2003.

  16. If I made an album of all my favorite songs post reunion, it'd probably be a pretty good 15 song album.

I've listened to Neighborhoods like twice since Cali came out and didn't even feel like finishing it. Easy call

Agreed. It was so refreshing to be able to enjoy blink again when Skiba joined. But it's not the same.

Sure, but take top 15 pre-reunion. Do I even need to ask which would be better?

  20. I don't hate Neighborhoods. I don't love it. There's a handful of good songs on there and some that I continue to skip. Most of all, my biggest gripe with Neighborhoods (and DED) is that they both feel way over-influenced by Tom. Neither of them have equal outputs from Tom and Mark. It seemed like Tom was in control of those songs and maybe Mark let him take over just to do whatever it took to put new Blink songs out?

Neighborhoods has Natives and Natives is one of the best blink songs so

One of the best reunion yes. No way overall!

    Things have changed.

Mark just struggled with writer's block for a very long time (that's what the opening of "Cynical" is about), meanwhile we've all seen that songs tend to just spill out of Tom, some far better than others.

I say overall. I think Natives could've fit like a glove on self-titled, if it were recorded with their voices in that era obv

Oh yeah even if it's not the same band I'm still enjoying this version of blink with Skiba over the post break up version with Tom and Mark barely looking at each other on stage, that was just awkward and weird. I just wish the three of them could have put all of their differences aside and would have been on the same page since day 1 but even the announcement that they were reforming was off.
